I have spent most of my life being a casual babysitter for family friends, and I have been a paid babysitter for about 7 years. I absolutely love spending time with children, and I have always sought out opportunities that allow me to do just that. In addition to babysitting, I have spent a summer working in the pediatric ward of a hospital, and recently completed an internship where I ran a summer day camp for elementary school children. I am passionate about making sure the children I work with have fun, and I arrive prepared with supplies tailored to each kid’s hobbies and interests – story books, art materials, games, movies etc. I am also capable of helping with homework (I was an official tutor throughout college for kids and other college students). In addition to all these, I am experienced in caring for really young children (newborns and toddlers) and I am able to discern and attend to their needs. I have also cared for multiple children (including twins) on several occasions.

Hi! My name is Audrey Coolman.
I am a first year Master of Public Health graduate student at Washington University and very excited about living in Saint Louis.
I am the oldest of eight children and have spent many years taking care of my siblings for my parents. I have a lot of experience with all ages of children, whether it is a newborn baby or a moody teenager. Besides consistently taking care of my siblings, I have also spent a lot of time babysitting other children from my dad's work or friends from church. I also have a lot of experience house-sitting and pet-sitting and worked at an emergency veterinary clinic part-time for the past five years. I am very organized, dependable, helpful, caring, and am happy to do house-work and cooking. Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you and your family.

In the year prior to returning to school at Washington University, I regularly looked after a recently widowed friend's four children (ages 2.5, twin 4 year olds, and 6). I also served as a full-time nanny for two children (ages 7 months and 3 years at the start of my time with the family) the summer before law school, and then continued to regularly babysit for the children throughout the three years of law school and a year or so after graduation. Although I did not participate in childcare work while I was a practicing attorney, upon returning to school I volunteered to serve as a childcare provider for the Transgender Spectrum Conference, through which I completed a satisfactory background check.

I have extensive babysitting experience. This past semester I babysat for two families. One family had 7 children, 2 of which were 8 month old twins and the oldest being 10 years old. The other family has 4 children ranging from 1 year old to 7 years old. I have been consistently babysitting since I was 11 years old myself and became red cross certified. Additionally, I volunteer on Sunday mornings at my church in the 2 year olds ministry. I love kids and have a lot of weekend and night availability with occasional week day availability.

I nannied regularly for neighbors all throughout high school. This past summer I accompanied a family on a four-week vacation to care for their 2 and 4 year-old sons. I worked with troubled teens in a clinical mental health setting for two years after graduating from college. I am excellent at holding appropriate boundaries while still having a lot of fun with children and teens.

Hello! My name is Niki. I have over 10 years of experience working with kids and most recently I worked at a daycare. I was a Teacher's Aide, and then the Lead Teacher, for a 5-12-year-old program at a daycare for almost four years.

At the daycare I was responsible for basic things such as ensuring that the 50 children in my classroom were safe and cared for. I also assisted the 2 - 5-year-old teachers with lessons, behavioral issues, etc.

I really love working with kids! My favorite activities are crafts, reading, or being outside. Of course I understand that watching kids can't be all fun and games, and I'm perfectly willing and capable of following any rules that you set for your children.

Thank you so much for your time! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me!

I've worked in pre-schools, elementary schools, and middle schools with children of all ages and backgrounds and have also helped lead a YMCA summer camp. I love fostering young minds as they learn and grow. I'm also available to tutor and/or pet-sit. I'm from California and am especially missing the little ones back home! A college student named Amber often babysat for my brother and me as we grew up. With each visit, she would come prepared with crafts or an adventure for the day. She infused time together with creativity, imagination, and fun. In my interactions with children, youth, and students, I try to accomplish the same goal. I love to encourage children to be creative, inventive, and thoughtful.
Throughout my high school years, I often babysat for local families and served as a small group leader for a group of 2nd graders every Sunday morning at church. In college I worked mainly with middle school and high school students through various organizations and non-profits. I love connecting to different age levels, and finding the interests and passions of different individuals (especially in cases of multiple siblings). I am more than willing to help with homework and other household responsibilities, but love to take trips to the park, museum, or other location when possible.

Care giving has always been a large part of my life, because I love children and I have cared for my younger sibling for as long as I can remember. I am CPR certified by the American Red Cross, and I have had years in both babysitting and nanny positions. I have 2 years of experience working as a counselor at my local YMCA with children ages 5-14. I was also a member of Camp Kesem, which is a non-profit organization that sends children to camp for 1 week free of charge in the summer whose parents have been affected by cancer in some way. This organization taught me how to cater to children who have experienced difficulty in their lives, which inspired me to create a magical, fun, and most importantly safe environment where they are able to thrive and grow. I recently worked at a daycare center in Haslett where I cared for children ages 6 months-5 years old. I recently graduated from Michigan State University class of 2017 with a Bachelors of Arts majoring in psychology minoring in sociology. During my time at MSU I took many child care classes that have allowed me to be extremely successful in rearing children of all ages and backgrounds.

I have nannied for three different families over a period of about four years and have babysat for several more families. I have watched children of all ages including infants, toddlers, middle schoolers and pre-teens. I also have some experience with children with developmental disabilities and behavioral problems. I believe in open communication with parents, and treating children with respect and responsible autonomy. I like being an active nanny/babysitter and appreciate active households.

I have worked in childcare since I was 13 years old, both individually and for community groups. While in undergraduate, I was also an after school tutor and then site leader for elementary students. During the past academic year, I volunteered in rural Honduras at a bilingual elementary, mainly with 3-5 year olds, but also helped with students through fourth grade. I am bilingual and it is my joy to work with kids.

After spending most of my career in humanitarian assistance, I spent the last year and a half working at a bilingual elementary school in Washington, DC. I was a Substitute teacher and most active in Preschool - 1st grade as a classroom teacher and paraprofessional. Prior to this, in college and high school, I babysat frequently. I am comfortable with all ages and really enjoy being around children. I am fluent in Spanish as well. My MSW concentration will be in mental health with children who have experienced trauma.

I am 26 years old and I have many years experience in working with kids in a variety of settings and across a wide age range. In 2006-2010, I was a softball skills and pitching coach for girls ages 8 to 12 where I coached both group and private lessons. In summers of 2009 and 2010, I was a recreation leader for children ages 6 to 14 where I planned, organized, and conducted activities. In the summer of 2011, I was a nanny for two girls ages 8 and 10 where I was responsible for planning and organizing activities, meals, and transportation. In 2015 I lived and worked in Kenya, teaching kids and teens in school and daycare settings. With a background in psychology and current education in social work, I am competent in child development. I will bring a positive attitude to creating fun and integrative experiences for your children. I greatly enjoy writing poetry, playing improv games, sports, being outside, and teaching. I would love to meet your kids and make the most out of each day I have with them.

I grew up at my grandmothers daycare and also have three younger siblings so I am very use to being around children. I have cared for children as young as two weeks old, I also have experience with children who have special needs. In undergrad I babysat for a family for three years as well as worked in before and after school childcare at an elementary school. If anyone would like references please do not hesitate to ask!

I have babysat for my sister and cousins since I was in middle school. In the 2014-2015 school year I was a tutor at the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club. From March-May 2015 I was a babysitter at Maplewood-Richmond Heights Club Fitness. From June 2015-August 2017 I was a Health Volunteer in Peace Corps Zambia. Before which I received a full medical and clearance. Aside from my health education work at Under 5 clinic(weighing children age 1 mo-5 yr, health talks and nutrition counselling) I daily lived with children of all ages in my community. Several times a week and increasingly daily I read magazines, books, everything with my host siblings and all the neighborhood kids, colored, made paper airplanes and used various American cartoons to learn about world culture and geography.
