1 | "Alan's Gamedev Resource Spreadsheet" Last Updated 12/17/20 Follow me on twitter if you have any questions: @heylookitsalan How to use this spreadsheet: Need a publisher? QA team? Localization? Just jump to that tab and look through the list for possible resources. Also, feel free to make a copy of this spreadsheet for your own use. I would love a credit or shout out, but it's all good! Localization: (11/18/2020): -This is a list of Localization Studios that either I have requested quotes from, worked with or am aware have worked on games. I have tried my best to list out games worked with each studio but some have either been NDAed or are not available (protip for localization studios: list out what games you've worked with!). -Much like porting, if you are looking for only individual languages or maybe your game doesn't have a lot of text you may not need a full localization company, there are many freelancers out there who can translate for you as well. I may add individuals to this list in the future! Porting (11/18/2020): -This is a list of Porting studios that I have either worked with or considered for various projects. I tried my best to verify certain supported platforms but it was hard (protip for porting studios: please list out what you can support on your site!). -Quick note: depending on your scope of your game, you may not need a whole studio to support you, there are individuals out there who provide porting support. I may add individuals to this list in the future! Publishers (Last Updated 12/17/2020): -This list is a list of publishers that I have tracked over the last few years, it is mostly up to date here, with links to their website, country of main operation, what platforms they mostly focus on, and information on how to submit your game with any information they may have provided specifically to their process/preference.I tried to scrub out individual emails and any personal notes here but if anything remains let me know. -A lot of the columns can be filtered if you are looking to publish a mobile game, freemium game, PC game, console etc. -Please note that Publishers all provide different services (some provide services like production, porting, QA, etc, others focus on certain regions of the world only, others exclusively provide funding, etc). You may see a game that is published by multiple publishers because some publishers have exclusivity for a platform/region for example. Basically, do your research, I've tried to make it as easy as possible! QA: (TBD) Studios/companies that can help QA your game and prepare it for submission. Production: (TBD) Studios/companies that can help with the development process for your game. Got more questions or want to add your resources to this list? Message me on Twitter!
