"Alan's Gamedev Resource Spreadsheet"
Last Updated 5/15/2024

- Removed a few Publisher/Investors, BUT I've added a few more. Hang in there y'all.

Follow me and DM me on Twitter if you have any questions: @heylookitsalan

How to use this spreadsheet:
- I have put together this sheet from comparing lists from fellow gamedevs, publishers, and other awesome people in the industry.
- Being on this list is not an endorsement, only a resource. Do your homework and reach out to teams who have worked with those companies!
- Feel free to make a copy of this spreadsheet for your own use, edit it the way you want, and if you find someone through this list, I'd love to hear about it!
- If you are using this information and posting it publicly, you are more than welcome to, but a shoutout would be nice. I've spent a ton of time on this list so that you don't have to!

- For Publisher/Investor information (Count: ~281):
- I tried to add helpful information such as what platforms they publish to, region of origin, and links to contact info in addition to some of the games they have worked with.
- I have also added investors to this list now, who are focused on funding studios as opposed to individual games. Do what you will with this information.
- If you are looking for a publisher for the first time, I highly recommend that you watch this GDC video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAI5W7Y5H28
- If you are a publisher and are reading this please put this information in an easy to find place on your website! The vast majority of the time I've spent on this list has been trying to find this basic info!

- For Localization information (Count: ~58):
- This is a list of Localization Studios that either I have requested quotes from, worked with or am aware have worked on games. I have tried my best to list out games worked with each studio but some have either been NDAed or are not available.
- If you are looking for localization support for the first time, read this: https://www.gamedeveloper.com/disciplines/is-it-a-good-idea-to-localize-an-indie-game-
- If you are a localization company and are reading this please put a list of languages you support and what games you actually worked on!

- For Porting Information (Count: ~34):
- This is a list of Porting studios that I have either worked with or considered for various projects. I tried my best to verify certain supported platforms to the best of my ability.
- If you are a porting house and are reading this please list out what platforms you can support on your site!

- For QA Information (Count: ~10):
- This is a list of Porting studios that I have either worked with or considered for various projects. I tried my best to verify certain supported platforms to the best of my ability.
- If you are a QA house and are reading this please list out what platforms you can support on your site!

Production: (Count: ~10):

- This is a list of studios/companies that can help with the development process for your game. This could be backend coding, co-development, etc.
- If you are a Production house and are reading this please list out what platforms you can support on your site!

Good luck fellow game devs!
