Use this document to do cash flow projections and check your current situation. It's less daunting than it looks, really!
4
The main sheet, "Cash Flow Projections", is where you get your summary
5

Introduction: The purpose of this sheet is to allow you to create a budget and a cash flow projection for your company and for your game(s). You can input information about your salaries, rent, costs, projected game sales, and more, and then you can see how long you'll have to survive based on those numbers. The basic breakdown of the document is that each tab has a total of some sort, which gets fed back to the main page "Cash Flow Projections". That main page takes all of the revenue and all of the expenses and balances them, finding your net profit and then making calculations with it. In many cases, the information in the individual tabs is dependent on things you've input on the main page-- namely, the number of months into the future and the number of new projects you will be working on in that time.

I've purposely left several cells blank in each sheet in order to allow you to fill it in with information about your situation (for example, I might only have 3 employees while you have 7 employees). If ever you need to add more information to a particular tab, keep in mind that many formulas are connected, so be sure to insert rows or cut and paste, keeping the formulas intact. If you want to add an entirely new tab because you think I've missed something major, please let me know at richard@clevendeav.com and put the words [CashFlow] in the subject. If you want to add it yourself, do keep in mind that it should always send its results back to the main "Cash Flow Projections" page.

In all cases, if you add something or change something major (such as adding a tab), go back to the main page and see what you broke. There should be ways to figure it out while looking at the formulas if you know Google Sheets syntax... otherwise let me know and I can try to update it. Thanks and happy number-playing!

Cells highlighted yellow must be changed before you start using the document, and they can be found on each sheet. After you've changed them, set them back to blue. In many cases, I've added extra yellow cells which you can leave empty (or change their colour to white) if you're not using. There should be no remaining yellow once you've gone through this sheet for the first time.
7
On each sheet, fill in the blue cells once in a while, as things change about your situation / predictions
8
On each sheet, update the pink cells every time you update the document
9
On each sheet, there are instructions on how to fill them out, highlighted in green
10
Don't touch the white cells, they're often made with formulas that depend on your input. Changing them will break things!
