There was a hypnotist at the show. There was also tacos. Before the show started, there were different slides about hypnotism. Some of them showed different artists and how they use hypnotism in their lives. The hypnotist was hypnotizing everyone in the crowd. And he said he can’t hypnotize everyone unless they want to. He also had chairs on the stage so volunteers could go on stage.

It was nice, but I got there only 15 minutes after it started and they were already out of pumpkins and fruit. They only had vegetables left like avocados and potatoes. Only fruit left were apples. I did get some carrots though which was nice. They did have pancakes and mini cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies and coffee. They had games like giant Jenga, limbo and bracelet making, but it was very crowded and I was disappointed not to get a pumpkin. I also had to go to class at one, so I didn’t get to stay and do any of the games. I had to grab some vegetables and leave.

The Pensacola Opera Al Fresco was an introduction to the 2023 studio artists. Together, they performed about 10 songs; some were arias and duets from operas and others were songs from musicals. This promoted my intellectual wellness because listening to experienced opera artists helps me to learn from their technique and their approaches to songs. This also improved my social wellness because it was a laid-back event in the park where I got to spend time with my grandparents and sister and also meet new people.

There was a lot of security there in case anything happened and also lots of free water to stay hydrated. The first portion of the concert was a DJ thanking SGA students who put homecoming together. Celebrating a Story about the Judiciary's Unsung Heroes: James Meredith Trial Reenactment and Q&A
UWF Legal Studies & Theatre Departments
9/16/20234:00:00 PM
I attended the trial reenactment on Saturday. I am a Legal Studies so it was very interesting to me. At first, when the defense was unable to provide any evidence to help the Prosecution, I thought that James Meredith and Constance Baker Motley were going to lose their case. However, after repeated recesses and appeals, James Meredith was able to attend the University of Mississippi and even graduated from there. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and now I have a greater understanding of another important court case.

Celebrating a Story about the Judiciary’s Unsung Heroes: James Meredith Trial Reenactment and Q&A
UWF Legal & Theatre Department
9/16/20234:00:00 PM
This trial reenactment was a collaboration between UWF's legal and theatre departments. It celebrated James Meridith and Constance Baker Motley. Many lawyers are doing this unsung hero trial reenactment because we are approaching the 40th anniversary of Brown vs. Board of Education. In this reenactment, I played Dugas Shands who was the opposing attorney during the Meridith vs. State of Mississippi case. It was very interesting to participate in because not only did I learn more about history, but we also got to work with current lawyers working in Pensacola.

Wet N' Wild was an event hosted by CAB on September 22nd from 1-3p.m. on the Cannon Green. The event featured two water slides, one obstacle course, knocker balls and a snack table. I enjoyed the event because it was a nostalgic moment for me. It reminded me of summer time growing up. Although I did not get on any of the waterslides because I was not dressed for it, I did enjoy watching other people go on it. I did go in one of the knocker balls, but only to take pictures because I knew for sure I would've gotten knocked over. It was funny watching other people play in them and rolling around.

This event was put on for Homecoming for the students at UWF. The artist chosen was NLE Choppa. During this event people were able to attend an NLE concert and just dance and sing along. The event started with an opener which was a local DJ who played various songs. Around 8:15ish is when NLE Choppa came onto the stage.
I attended this event with a few friends. Although the event was really crowded, we enjoyed the event and had fun just attending a concert and dancing around.

The event started with root beer floats then after 30 minutes, they let us into the aquatic center. then the first round was a three faculty teams, the Center of Commerce won although I was rooting for Captain Quack. They then had three rounds of homecoming teams and it was interesting to see which boats made it across and which ones tipped over instantly. Some that made it were not what I was thinking they would be. All in all, it was fun but, it was very warm with a strong chlorine, so I am not sure I would be able to go again because it gave me a migraine.

This was a really fun event to go to. I was in the Marvelous Wonderettes as an actor and was there every night. This was an interactive show, so it was a little bit different every night. This was a very fun and engaging experience for me, as it allowed me to have the chance to connect deeply with myself through the character I was portraying as well as through the connections that I made onstage and with the audience. I loved the challenges that this play posed for me during the process and continued to challenge me with every night.

At this event CAPS had many partners who were tabling to discuss mental health and the different ways there are to help and handle stress. There were 10 tables, not including the 2 food tables, the puppy petting area, and the check-in table. When you checked in, they gave you a piece of paper which allowed you to get a slice of pizza if you collected 4 stars. These stars were handed out by people at the different tables which you could only get if you interacted with them. When you first check-in they also gave you a piece of paper with questions. If you asked the questioned to the organizations tabling, you could get a cookie.
I really enjoyed this event. I talked to every table and collected all 10 of the stickers. Each table had their own unique thing including coloring pages, smoothie recipes, a self-care wheel, and a bio-feedback reader. Most tables had flyers that you could take. I took flyers on coping with test anxiety, active minds, and speaks to inspire. I think this event not only allowed me to get out of my room and so something fun, but also allowed me to learn new resources available and more tips of stress. I think this event was beneficial to attend because it helped me learn things that I can use and also share with my residents to help them with their stress.

The Anxiety Busters event was hosted in the UWF Commons. The event provided tips on how to manage anxiety and stress, and multiple clubs and UWF departments had tables to further connect students with available resources. I already knew about most campus resources that were offered, but I did learn more about the UWF Active Minds, a club that helps support students mental health and reduce its stigmatization.

The movie was great and very informative. It discussed how over fishing is affecting the entire global ecosystem and showed just how destructive commercial fishing is. Throughout the latter part of the movie, it turned out that a lot of commercial fishing is actually tied to organized crime which is why so many experts are not reporting on it in the same way that plastics and fossil fuel is reported on. All in all, interesting movie and a good time.

This show was very good and is wonderful to see. I saw this show in its final dress rehearsal process when I helped to make the trailer for the production. This was my second time seeing it and it is still just as heartwarming as the first time. This show, specifically, is good for intellectual wellbeing because it forces you to take a step back and put life into perspective. It helped me to distance myself from the things in my life that are stressing me out currently and find the joys in what I experience in my day to day life.
