P1: Must Have Set Up New Team This Feature will allow team managers to create their team in the app. Best practice in other apps similiar to the one we are designing for Is that the team manager sets up the team in the app. We will continue that here.

Invite Players To Join Team This is the feature that team managers will use after they set up their team in the app. They will send a email invitation to team members to join the team on the app. Most apps in the similiar space, team members need to be invited to join the team on the app by the team manager. Continuing this best practice here.

Schedule w/ Ability To Link To Calendar Team managers will enter the schedule for their season which will inlcude: Game date, time, which rink & opponent. They will then be able to publish to team dashboard. Users stated that a calendar feature was of high importance as it will allow them to easier plan their attendance around their other commitments. They also stated that it would be helpful if they could sync the app calendar to their personal calendar (iCal, Google, Outlook)

Attendance TrackingThis feature will allow team managers to easily see what their players attendance status is for each game. Status' will include: Playing, Not Playing, Available To Play. Users stated that their current method of tracking attendace, which was through group chats & email was ultimately difficult to track, hard to get responses, & can get bogged down with unreralated messages. This feature will look to fix that issue.

In App Team Messaging This feature will allow team managers to send a message to all team members about any import game / season updated as well as general communication between team members Every user I interviewed all stated that they would like an in app messaging feature. They stated that often times they are forced to use another seperate app for team communication & that it was frustrating to have to do.

Game Reminder / Update Notifications Team members will receive push notifications ( if turned on) or notifications in the app about upcomimng games or if any changes to the game or scheedule have been made. This will help the team manager ensure that all updates were communicated. Users mentioned that notifications about important game or schedule updates would be helpful as it was possible that they wouldnt notice them without it.

P2: Nice To Have Payment Feature This feature will allow the team manager to request payment for the team dues directly though the app. Users, specifically ones to manage teams stated that collecting payment for team dues was a daunting task & wish they could just request it from the app.

Substitute Goalie Search One of the biggest issues facing team managers is having to find a last minute sub goalie. With this feature goalies can use the app & create a profile for themselves with information such as times available & distance willing to travel. Team managers can search through the list to try & find a last minute sub. Team managers I interviewed stated that this one of the most high stress tasks that they are subject to. Unless they have a large rolodex of backup goalies, they can be extrememly difficult & stressful to find.

Post Game RecapThis feature will allow the to send a recap of the latest game to all team members to mark completion Research has show that many apps offer post game recap. This is used to both give a recap of the game to players, but also to keep players that were not able to make the game informed of what went on.

Player Profiles with Stats Players will be able to update their profile with their player information: preffered position, Jersey number etc. Team manager can enter individual stats for each player after each gameThis was mention by a few users that would be something that would be fun to have.

P3: Surprising & Delightful League Manager If the app is a success at the indv team level. We can use the app to manage an entire league. This would include the schedule for the whole league, stats, standings & league information This was just part of my business goals, so I thought I would include it here. No plans to build at this time, just wanted to include.
