We will go up the bluff trail and take it to the Jodhpur access, where we will drop down to the beach and walk back towards the chalet. Expect to be out 3 to 4 hours. This is flat terrain, more of a “walk" than a hike but be aware it can be very slippery with wet leaves on the bridges. We will walk a couple of miles, have lunch, and return. Enjoy the ballfield area and then head north to descend more gently through tundra and brush. Find a way to the knob/hill which sits along Middle Fork trail. We will hike on the Powerline for about
2 miles to German bridge. Depending on weather and trail conditions, a shorter option will be to hike up to a viewpoint/ lunch spot and turn back for a 5-6 mile hike. The hike to Hidden Lake is approx 10-12 miles. I
have not seen reports of recent snow and trail conditions. Unless there is a change in weather, grippers might be the best foot gear.
