Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
- Academic or professional experience with urban planning, transportation, traffic
engineering, data analytics, public administration, public policy, logistics, or in an economics/finance related degree program.
- Working experience as a research or policy analyst preferred.
- Experience with transportation business, government, public policy, or transportation
agencies strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate
significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
- Experience with market analysis and related research in transportation-related industries preferred.
- Excellent and demonstrated research, writing, troubleshooting, organizational and
planning skills.
- Consideration will be given to those applicants who have also obtained mobility,
transportation–related degrees, or completed academic coursework or internships in related areas of study, including law and legal studies.

Salary, Compensation & Fringe Benefits
- Full-time salaried position (negotiable based on prior relevant experience);
- Raise eligibility, as well as overtime-eligibility;
- 10 vacation and 5 sick/personal days within the first year of service, expanding up to 15
vacation days and 10 sick/personal per year – with payment of up 10 unused but accrued
vacation days;
- Full fringe benefits, including medical/health, dental, and 401(k) profit sharing plan;
- Money purchase retirement plan and trust;
- Flexible spending plans for health care and dependent care; and
- HealthEquity Commuter Card Transit Program.
- Salary Range is $45,000 to $75,000 (not including overtime pay and the value of the
fringe benefits).

The Allen Group LLCProject Management/Construction Management Overview
The Allen Group is looking for summer interns to support our project and construction management teams on heavy civil, underground, building, transit system, and aviation construction projects in the Bay Area. We focus on providing assignments that allow our interns to learn more about project and construction management, and experiences that will help to define prospective career options in these areas.

Our internship program is designed to create opportunities for interns to:
· Gain hands-on experience as a project team member, working in a multi-discipline team, with exposure to various types of expertise required to manage projects efficiently.
· Attend workshops designed to showcase industry practices as well as provide opportunities for networking with industry experts and clients.
· Network with professional staff and other student interns.
· Work with a mentor who will provide guidance and ensure meaningful work assignments and contributions.

Required Qualifications
We are looking for student candidates who are excited about their education and have the desire to develop and apply their academic course of study to practical, real-world experiences in project and construction management. The following requirements must be met in order to participate in the program:
· Educational background (working on Bachelor’s or higher degree) in engineering (civil, structural, mechanical), construction management, or architecture preferred.
· Interest in all aspects of project and construction management. (This internship is not focused on engineering or design tasks.)
· Full commitment to all program activities, including all project support assignments and all extracurricular activities.
