Pamela Nyepamelanye@westminster.netArchives Outreach: Collaborative Programs with Archives and the CommunityPanel (2-5 speakers)I'd like to discuss a recent program we've started here at the school between the Archives and the Alumni Office during the Alumni Weekend. Would love to learn about other programs that could provide frameworks for others looking at ways to engage the community.Haley-Marie Ellegood-I'm not sure
if this fits, but I would be happy to
discuss our Homecoming event at
Mercer where we have an
interactive timeline to engage with
alumni

Caitlin Marshall and Eli Arnoldcmarshall1@oglethorpe.edu; earnold@oglethorpe.eduMoving a very small archives from all paper to ArchivesSpaceSkills LabOU moved to ArchivesSpace last year and want to share lessons learned/workflows/best practices/etc. We'd love another library to partner with us if they have moved to ArchivesSpace recently OR have been with it a while and have things to share.Maranda Christy - I'm interested in this topic. In my previous job at Augusta University, I helped migrate records from Archon to ArchivesSpace so I would be interesed in hearing and sharing with others about their migrations and current workflows with ArchivesSpace. In my current job at Mercer University, we are in the process of updating a lot of our old finding aids to the new ArchivesSpace format.christy_mp@mercer.eduWilling to help with a presentation if there is enough interest in this topic. - Maranda

Katie Twomeyktwomey@portmanarchives.comArchitectural Drawings (physical & digital)Mini workshopI'd like to host a workshop to discuss archiving architectural drawings. A chance to go over some basics about working with this material which may be new for some institutions. I work in a private corporate archive so it would be lovely if we could get interested parties from all different archival backgrounds like academic, government, etc. I think this is would be an interesting topic even for those who don't work with arch. drawings traditionally.Feel free to reach out to Katie with thoughts, comments and interest in participation. Thanks!

Tamara Livingstontlivings@kennesaw.eduDigital Stewardshipinterest group/workshop/skills labAppraisal of digital "collections" is key to determining how they are managed, accessed, processed and preserved. But not all digital collections are created equal, and neither should our digital processing. I'd like to present how the KSU Archives appraises and dispositions all manner of digital stuff that comes our way as a possible example or conversation starter for other institutions.
