Otherwise, yes.NASourcing Kona WhiteYes10Blocks were quick to makeSourcing Kona White I suggest a change from Kona to Confetti Cotton or Bella. If we have to buy fabric online anyway, let's get a better quality quilting cotton.

Give the swap captains a week to finalize the address list, then give group members a week to mail out. One week is not enough time to get the list sent out and get everything in the mail if anyone in the group is a day or two late. Thanks for another fun swap!

Not yet, but I know more are on the way.most were 2 forever stamps. the one to Canada was maybe $8-10?yesyesaccuracy. since it wasn't just a block for me, I redid many of the blocks to get them as perfect as I could. it was actually a really good lesson for me!yes10Getting blocks in the mailStressing that the blocks were wonky or seams didn't matchOf the 11 blocks I've received so far, it seems a bunch of them are just about the same colors and same values. I'm interested to see how it will look when I have all blocks. I don't know how to solve this, just an observation.

I didn't join the star swap that was just before this one bc it looked way too difficult. But, what I did like was it was the same colors.

Also, I liked that this swap was good for a beginner (I've only been quilting for about a year or so). I will definitely join another swap!

All but the one from Germany I had the Forever stamps and bought the international and extra postage ones. Like $4 not including the ones I already hadOh yeahAlways I caught Covid from a planned vacation that was in the middle of the swap. Getting past that was the hard part. The pattern also sucked, but I figured out how to do it in an easier process.Yes7The blocks were easy to make. Got to get some stuff out of my stash too.Oh god, the color combinations. This is one loud quilt.Maybe have a better color set that "CLASH"

Not yet, but I know more are on the way.$20Yes, had plenty of time between them, and even time to work ahead!I didn't need support, but group folks were supportive to those who asked for it in chat.Waiting for blocks... :)Yes; groupmates were responsive too.10The color theme! It's been fun to see how complementary colors are expressed in finished blocks.Waiting for blocks to arrive - it may be my post office, but I've had envelopes arrive with some tearing on the long edges. (Nothing's been damaged or lost though.)Nothing. I've actually been looking at that block for a future project and like that it's a little more complicated.Thank you all for another fun swap!!

Not yet, but I know more are on the way.about $23yesyesThe Block-lining up the retangeles and sewing straight. yes9The blocks started arriving the week of my birthday. A little bit of joy the whole week. Eh, Seam ripping when I lined things up wrong. Nothing really. Well done my fellow swappers. Friends were cynical about getting back blocks. It's going to be 100 % for both swaps. Exceeded my expectations in skill and beauty. I need to up my game.

Not yet, but I know more are on the way.About $24 USYesYesYes - The addresses were sent outside of our group chat and without additional information we needed to send our blocks correctly - it would be nice to get this all in one message and place next time. I think our team captain was just eager to get them to us.Yes, but Reddit chat is not ideal for groups of this size9Making the blocks!!I wish my team had been a little more coordinated or balanced with color choices and use/scale of patterns, but everyone kind of did their own thing. That’s ok too! Just makes for a slightly less cohesive quilt. Nothing!! The timeline worked well for me, even during a busy summer, feels like y’all have this well in hand

NoLess than $3 per packageYes, although they got a little tight sometimesYesFighting my own perfectionismYes10This was a great pattern that was easy to chain piece. Worrying about deadlinesMaybe extend the deadlines by a few days, especially if the pattern is more complicated than this one. They can be a bit hard to meet for those with busy schedules. Please consider more strip piecing blocks for future swaps. The next swap is too complicated for me to complete within a similar timeline to this one, but I'm hoping to join future swaps with similar, beginner-friendly blocks.

Not yet, but I know more are on the way.12 usdYesYesExternal factors like work and tiredness Yes7Group peer pressure motivating me to sewSome folks didn’t really adhere or seem to attempt to have complimentary colors / had busy prints Looser color guidelines, I think folks did better with the warm tones than the complimentary colors. It was still fun though! It’s better when folks communicate problems early, one member shared right before mailing that all their blocks were undersized and that was disappointing… not sure exactly what I’ll do with that block
22
Not yet, but I know more are on the way.$20Yes! I felt like everyone was very willing to work together! And when we had a last minute dropper someone in our group stepped up to do an extra set The hardest part was getting color approvals from the group, we wanted everyone to be happy with all the colorsYes 8My favorite part was how easy these blocks came together which made the progress posts feel really achievable My least favorite part was the color planning. I liked the freedom but I ended up with a majority of blocks of one color combo (yellow/purple) and now the other ones don’t fit My preference would be to have assigned colors so that everything matches (like how in the chickens swap of 2022 every person in a group did a different color so each person ended up with a rainbow of blocks) None, just thank you to the amazing people who set this all up!
