In my province, there's not so much discrimination going on for Muslims like in some parts of the country. Muslims are like the marginalized minority here in the Philippines because majority of us are Catholics. I am part of the majority but I have muslim friends and they aren't really discriminated a lot here. I am not originally from this place so I was astounded at first but eventually, there's more to it than meets the eye. :) I am glad to be part of this more accepting culture now.That's cool with me

It's a bit more subjective, but it could give you real insight as to how your applicants feel about your approach to diversity and inclusivity—real feedback and not just data points. =)That's cool with me

The Kantian "I think" and Sartre's "existence precedes essence" are not contradictory and understanding this was the final key for me in understanding diversity. I think differently than most people. I have a highly associative memory so I rely on remembering context as much as I do data. I work well with people who think like I do and with people who have more of a filing cabinet type memory. I believe that we are all unique in one way or another and that uniqueness is what makes the world so interesting. That's cool with me

Go to France, if you tell them you're Algerian they look down, go to Argentina, if you're not white you're treated badly, but in the US it seems so many people come from so many backgrounds, that it almost doesn't matter. Not in a bad way either. Of course we have racism and prejudice but I think the US could be a country with a majority of immigrants sometime in the near future. Obviously US-centric but I think the US is one of the most diverse places in the planet.That's cool with me

North America25-34HappinessI think diversity in the workplace is important, as the tech and start-up industry is underrepresented by certain backgrounds. I don't believe this is intentional; I believe people of different backgrounds haven't been as exposed to the field and all that it offers as others have. But diversity opens the window for sharing and appreciating not only other cultures, but also other ideas that stems and benefits from a difference in experiences. I believe that alone is enough to justify a conscious effort to be as inclusive and diverse as possible. :)That's cool with me

ProductOur world today smaller due to technology. I feel that technology also creates more diversity and inclusive. I grew up on an island rich in diversity. As a result, diversity and inclusivity for me is more than just buzzwords. It is how I see the world. With all the different cultures, backgrounds and languages in the world, it all comes down to one thing. We are all human and to be human is to be diverse.That's cool with me
