I liked the structure of the programme. The lessons are building on each other which made the topics easier to follow and to get a greater understanding of effective alturism at the end.

I know that we did this on zoom because of covid, but it would be amazing if this could be moved back to be in person. Having in-person discussions are always more meaningful and talking on zoom is always a bit awkward (silences, waiting for others to speak up, etc.)

I think the socials are very good, unfortunately I did not have enough time to participate too often however. When I was there I met a lot of like minded people and it was very easy to connect with them. I actually felt refreshed after the social because I loved the topics and that fact that everyone was respecting the other's opinion.

All in all I believe that Ákos was a great facilitator. He did give us time and space to explore ideas and he encouraged to speak up whenever we felt like it. He had a hard job though since he had to fight the "zoom awkwardness" from time to time, but I believe he managed it quite well. Also he has a very open personality and he had a lot of useful information for us. Not to mention that he was brave enough to say to some questions that he might don't know the answer -let's face it, it is also a skill that not many people know. :)
So to sum up, I really liked our weekly discussions and it was very refreshing to talk with Ákos.

My only issue is that due to work I am mostly unable to plan 1 week ahead, so I would be able to attend more events if I knew when is the approximate time I can expect to have a social. But all in all I like that fact that these gatherings are existing and also it is great that the places are always different - it is nice to have a change of scenery.

I would have prefered fewer assignments each week

I liked the short exercises and tasks, and that we could just talk about them in az informal matter.

Maybe have at least 5 person in a group, because there always will be someone who can't show up at a meeting, and so if there are more than 3-4 people, the course wouldn't have to delay itself if someones missing.

Bring in more people and from various types of backgrounds, so it would be interesting to hear how everyone is thinking.

- I liked how we were able to signal what time are we available for the session. 1,5 hour is great, not too little, not too much.

- My mentor was great, welcoming, open to different or new ideas or perhaps disagreements and criticism. It was a safe and encouraging space to discover the material and bring ideas into.

- Socials are essentials for strengthening the community and making sure people finish with the programme. I like how people who might not have as much money can attend too, without fear of missing out or shame for not paying for themselves, because everybody's consumption is payed by the organisation.

- The Syllabus was organised and materials were easily accessible. I liked the free books. Truly accessible.

- Help was always offered, participation encouraged, the mentor was paying attention to everybody, and tryed to involve each and every person, without pressuring them to pitch in.

- Always make sure people know what to read to the next session and where and when will it take place. Perhaps send the information after the prevoius session and before the next session too. (It was done, but I think it's important to emphasize this.)

- People take time to think and express their thoughts. Back and forth dialogues happen. Confusion can arise and clarification might be needed. This takes up time. 1,5 hour is enough, not too intrusive towards our daily life, but I think the group should be consistent of 1 mentor and at maximum 3 mentees. 3 people thinking and speaking will not take up as much time as 5 or more, and therefore they can feel more comfortable expressing themselves longer. Downside: if 1 or 2 people doesn't show up, the session is likely to be rescheduled. Most important one.

- Information about the programme should be posted in the FaceBook group as well to prevent searching trough E-Mails containing them (1 on 1 session, Study Buddy).

- After session encouragment to discuss the topics between the groups perhaps on FaceBook. Can strengthen understanding of the topic and provides an opportunity to talk with other members outside socials. Discussions should be opened with specific questions that attendees can answer about the topic, so people know what to talk about or where to start. After that, it can evolve naturally. (Might not work due to people being shy. Might require people who always start and pitch in to encourage others.)

I'm sure it did not happen yet, but mentors might need to think about how to treat distruptive people partaking in the fellowship in the future. (Never showing up, being rude or dismissive, taking up all time speaking, not treating participants the right way outside the sessions.)

It could be a bit more practical if that’s possible

He was always interested, and he had a lot of great insight which also made the program more interesting, I really enjoyed the discussions

I would have liked it more, if we have more time for the meetings, so he could share more about his thoughts, because he probably knew more about the topics we talked about. I think this way I could have learned even more.

It was a lovely experience. Maybe the groups size could have been a bit larger but I am not sure about it either.

I think it would be something related to visualization. If we had a classroom or sth where we could watch relevant stuff just as we did in our first social, that could be more effective.

I am completely fine with everything. I am not fully engaged due to my comparison with in-depth participants.

He was excellent, understanding and flexible. I would definitely take the program from him again if I were to take it again.

The social occasions definately, and the structure of the course ( reading and discussing the given texts) ( Even thougt I have not attend any socials yet (!!!) but I love the idea, and I failed to read the texts throrougly from week to week sadly, I regret that.)

Nem értettem sokáig, hogy miért vagyun ilyen kevesen egy csoportban. (Tudom, közben valakik kietstek) de ilyen kis létszámmal (3 résztvevő) furcsa volt elkezdeni a képzést. Valahogy az ösztönzés, hogy lelkiismeretesebben olvassuk a szövegeket?

Talán, ha nem csak a saját csoportunkkal lenne mindig alkalom, hanem esetleg két alkalom az összes képződővel? vagy két másik csoporttal. Esetleg egy vita "játékra", vita beszélgetésre összeengedni minket, találkozni az ő gondolataikkal. ( és ez egy fokkal formálisabb, képzésszerűbb mint a social alkalmak)

Kezdetben furcsálltam és nem értettem, hogy gyakran fel hívná rá a figyelmet, hogy ezt vagy azt nem tudja, amikbe belekezdett mondandóba, de később rájöttem, hogy ez egyrészről tök okés, és amugy nagyon sok mindenről meg kiterjedt rálátása van, és inkább csak ekszkuzálja magát, de valószínüleg arról is van ismerete amire azt mondja hogy, nem tudom. Sőt, nagyon is megszerettem az alkalmakat miatta, mert nagyon ügyesen teremt közvetlen atmoszférát, nagyon jó a kérdéstechnikája, mindig mindig jobban bele tud kérdezni dolgokba, önmagam megkérdőjelezésére bír, ez nagyon jó. És maga is tájékozott, jó hogy van véleménye, és így partneri is az egész diskurzusban, nem pedig egy független - önmagát kivonó - facilitátor, hanem beszélgetőtársunk. Hamar elnyerte a szimpátiánkat. :))
Tanácsnak talán annyi, hogy nem kell szabadkozni Zalán annyit...mert kezdetben ez lehet összetéveszthető a hiányos ismeretekkel, miközben egyáltalán nem erről van szó, inkább csak udvariaskodás. Szóval az elhagyható.
A következő kérdés assignmenteket kérdez: talán valami visszakérését ezeknek lehetne ösztönözni..nem tudom. Csak mert ezek nélkül is elég alaposak voltak a beszélgetések.
