Things to consider when thinking about scales for undergrads:

1) item content must be relevant to undergrads (reflecting back on life, children, etc.)

2) timing/ context of student's life could influence answers (recent vacation or midterms?)
4
3) personality tendencies sometimes get conflated with WB (extraversion, etc)
5
4) is content amenable to intervention (by you)?
6
5) granularity/scope of scale (do you have meaning generally versus do you have this particular meaning skill)
7
6) cultural sensitivity (colloquial language, differing values)
8
7) generational sensitivity (differing values, differing developmental needs, differing language)
