Instruction Team & Curriculum Introduction
Instructors will introduce themselves to learners. Discussing their individual history / origin with Hack the Hood and technology, technical / sociotechnical topics or news they're passionate about, and what they are looking forward to from programming. Afterwards, introduce cohort to curriculum map and overall structure / flow of programming. Instructors can plan to deliver this walkthrough together or have just one of them do it. If only one is doing it then:

Instructor 1 focuses on giving walkthrough of program structure, curriculum and any other important logistics
Instructor 2 focuses on answering questions, responding to chat, tracking attendance, etc

Add learners to slack / Google Classroom / any other learning facing program tools

01:30Intro to Agile: SCRUM Stand Ups

Instructors will led their group through the lesson and talk about what daily scrums are and why they are beneficial to the team. Then learners will complete and submit an augmented Daily Scrum form to google classroom asking about anything they accomplished the week before programs started, anything they anticipate may be challenging about their hack the hood program participation, any goals they have for their time in the program and any issues / concerns they have about the program they want to share with staff. Learners should discuss their stands up with each other.
