International Federation of Medical Students' Associations - The NetherlandsOnline Health Literacy Platform in GhanaDo you want to make a major impact on public health in Ghana with your own medical knowledge? Then this opportunity is for you! IFMSA-NL recently had contact with PharmAccess, an organization based in Amsterdam that is committed to accessible and high-quality care in sub-Saharan Africa.

Together with Vandzilah Technology, they are working on a new initiative: an online health literacy platform for young people and the general public in Ghana, in order to increase knowledge and expertise regarding health, prevention and disease. In this way they hope to give the vast majority of the population in Ghana equal access to information about their own health. The above mentioned platform will provide short descriptions of all kinds of diseases and disorders and ways to prevent them.

All this information will be checked by local medical experts in Ghana, but they cannot set this up on their own, hence this call for your help! We are looking for volunteers who would like to contribute to the information that will be used on this site. Approximately 1.5 A4 pages should be written per subject
