Hi, SRCCON:WORK!

This spreadsheet is a work in progress, and it needs your help.

Navigate to the tab below that describes your department (Editorial, Product, UX...) and drop in terms or phrases you use day to day, especially ones you think your colleagues might not understand. Also feel free to add in terms you hear from people in other departments.

Here's a guide to the columns in each sheet:
Column A: Term
Column B: Definition (optional)
Column C: Purpose / Context (optional)

Also: feel free to add a new sheet with another department name and drop in a few of your own terms. Email us anytime with questions:
- Sarah Schmalbach, Product Manager, sarah.schmalbach@theguardian.com
- Sasha Koren, Editor, sasha.koren@theguardian.com

We’ll use everyone’s terms in our game of news organization Balderdash at SRCCON:WORK in December, and plan to make it widely available afterwards for anyone to use.

Thanks, and we'll see you soon!
