2T6 - 2T7 Group Conference Funding Application
12
13
The purpose of conference funding is to provide engineering students with the ability to attend conferences or competitions representing Skule, EngSoc or UofT when they otherwise might have been unable to do so due to financial need.
While previous conference funding was limited, the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Engineering and associated Alumni Fund have generously donated $50,000 for the schoolyear to sponsor students to use conference funding and attend conferences/events for their own personal development or community achievement. We thank the faculty and alumnus for their support!
Please note that applications are approved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our policy is to directly pay funding to conferences/or their associated costs as opposed to reimbursements but exceptions can be made. Please reach out to the VP Finance to clairfy your options. Additionally, please note that at this time, up to a maximum of $750 per student can be allocated (& $5000 per club). The exact amount is to be determined by the finance committee.
