Moms GroupMOPSMothers of Preschoolers is foccused on supporting and equipping mothers of young children. This happens through talks, group discussions, creative activities and plenty of opportunities to build friendships with peers or mentors. At the same time MOPS provides a great program for kids from infants to 6 years old. Celebrating those with Special NeedsNight to ShineNight to Shine is a Prom Night experience for people with special needs hosted every February. Guests are paired up with a volunteer buddy for the night and enjoy a fun evening where they are celebrated and reminded that they are special and loved by God. Worship for those with Special NeedsEvening ServiceThe Evening Service is an accessible worship service held on the first and third Sunday of each month. We seek to bring together people of all physical, cognitive, social and economic abilities to love God and love each other. When we are able to meet in person, the evening consists of a potluck meal and worship through singing, prayer and a message from God’s Word. In addition to traditional methods, each service uses multi-sensory teaching such as hands-on activities, videos, pictures and discussion. Children'sAwanaAWANA is a program for children in preschool through grade 5 that brings kids from several different churches and kids with no connection to a church. The AWANA mission is to reach children everywhere with the gospel of Jesus Christ and engage them in lifelong discipleship. AWANA reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him. AWANA also helps children build self-esteem and good relationships with others. The North Shore Great BanquetThe Great Banquet is a 72-hour experience, beginning on Thursday evening and ending Sunday evening. For three days, guests live and study together in a worshipful time of singing, prayer and discussion. During each of the fifteen talks given by laity and clergy, the theme of God's grace is presented. Guests participate in the daily celebration of Holy Communion and examine more fully the presence of Christ in His body of believers.
