14 | Worship for those with Special Needs | Evening Service | The Evening Service is an accessible worship service held on the first and third Sunday of each month. We seek to bring together people of all physical, cognitive, social and economic abilities to love God and love each other. When we are able to meet in person, the evening consists of a potluck meal and worship through singing, prayer and a message from God’s Word. In addition to traditional methods, each service uses multi-sensory teaching such as hands-on activities, videos, pictures and discussion. The AWANA mission is to reach children everywhere with the gospel of Jesus Christ and engage them in lifelong discipleship. AWANA reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him. AWANA also helps children build self-esteem and good relationships with others.
