<Paradox> Guild Rules
3
4
Mission Statement:
5
Above all, <Paradox> is a guild by players for players.
6
We exist to meet all Vanilla WoW goals, objectives, and to clear all progression content while still current (prior to new content releasing).
7
We aim to minimize all drama/toxicity and maintain a fun atmosphere while pushing for logs, efficient raiding, and having a serious mentality while raiding with friends.
8
We define ourselves as a semi-hardcore guild.
9
10
Acceptance of Rules:
11
DISCLAIMER: Players that are a part of <Paradox> are expected to reference this document and read it thoroughly. By joining <Paradox> you are agreeing to our ruleset defined below and any/all details/expectations in this "guild google doc's" entirety.
12
13
Ranks:
14
Officer:
15
Leadership's role is to create an environment of consistency, stability, efficiency, trust, and success for the entire guild.
16
A maxium of 8 (minimum of 3) leadership roles will be owned at one time (this includes the guild master)
17
Each player in the leadership group will share the same rank "Officer" (this includes the guild master) - each is treated equally with equal power
18
This allows for all decisions to be made via vote and prevents one person from power tripping/expecting special treatment.
19
Responsible for the following:
20
Answering any/all questions that players have
21
Handling any issues that may come up
22
Maintaining and referencing of the guild Discord and Google Docs

25
Raid Duties: coordinating buffs, raid formation and group maintenance, attendance tracking, loot distribution, leadership, and world pvp
26
Guild bank duties will be carried by all leaders
27
The guild bank character is on a separate account and not linked to a specific character/player
28
Officers have access to the guildbank
29

43
If a veteran ranked player is able to return to the guild down the road the can start building attendance over time again as raid spots allow for. They can start back up as Raider rank if they chose to.
44

68
NOTE: This is for IDEAL raid composition. We may or may not have this week to week so do not be discouraged to show up if you are not a Core ranked player, chances are you will have a spot most weeks
69
Raid spots are competetive and if there are other lower rankled players with higher attendance/performance/better attitudes and/or if a Core ranked player is "coasting" we go with the "next man up" mentality.
70
Leadership retains the right to demote a Core ranked player if they do not meet the above.
71
Flex Days: Core+ ranked players have 2 flex days per 10 week period. If a player is unable to raid due to: connection issues, vacation, date night, etc. they can still receive full attendance credit 2 times per 10 weeks.
72
If a player needs to miss more than 2 days in a 10 week cycle then they will not receive attendance for those nights.
73
NOTE: Notice needs to be given prior to the raid, it cannot be done after. If you do not reach out to an officer and/or post in #late-and-afk prior to invites starting you are ineligible for flex day credit. Flex Days will be tracked in bold on the attendance sheet.
74
75
Raider:
76
Players that either cannot meet 85% of the raids or is showing up to every raid waiting for a Core Raider spot for their class to open up.
77
Any Raider ranked player is eligable for a Core Raider promotion after they have been raiding with <Paradox> for a total of 10 weeks and/or have reached the 85% attendance mark and if there is an open core spot for their class, see above.

Trial Raider:
89
