Mike learns more about himself in four months than he has in fourteen years and comes to realise that he's fallen in love with his best friend. A four part historically accurate coming of age story set between July and October 1985.

Having lived in exile from the citadel since he was twelve, Will knows well the necessity of having a daily schedule: wake up early, gather materials, make tinctures and poultices for clients, take care of the garden, and never use magic when your hands will do just fine.
