4
Aims of the work plan -
5
1. Compile activities and needs
6
2. Prioritize activities and needs
7
3. Track on work completed (paused or changed)
8
4. Provide a reference point for other UC groups and community members
9
10
Notes -
11
1. The SPST work plan is a living document. Its purpose is more functional than statement-oriented.
12
2. SPST's scope is strategic decision-making. Some operational items may appear in the work plan, but only insofar as SPST will provide strategic oversight.
13
3. Work includes ongoing oversight and decision-making around existing projects and initiatives. New areas of investigation and activity may be identified by SPST members, the Shared Print Project Team, DOC, other UC groups (like SCLG, SPOT, or Shared Print Coordinators), or via campus requests or feedback. Typically an SPST member associated with one of these groups will propose a need or idea on to the SPST on behalf of one of these other groups.
14
4. Work is initially prioritized by the Team Manager. SPST affirms or recommends amendments to the prioritization of work. DOC (as the body to which SPST reports) may recommend work and priority areas.
15
5. SPST members may add new ideas to the 'long list' tab for consideration by the Team.
