| 4/20/2023 11:35:15 | df | - library to sync a hub to a standard SQL database and schema, including a boilerplate to run yourself on any standard cloud infra; dockerized less important for me now as I've written all this code, but would've helped me to get started faster - a js library to format a plaintext cast string into a a hub structured cast format - an open source React.js cast creator that handles mentions, image upload, video upload and cast formatting - a js library to parse a hub cast text string into a structured format, extracting mentions, urls, images into a javascript array of objects to make it easy to render using React components - a SQL query to return a nested JSON of a farcaster thread from the standard schema - a Next.js basic client starter boilerplate

| 4/20/2023 11:52:24 | df | I want all docs easily findable in one place with table of contents or links; so many strange dangling notion urls that don't navigate between eachother that I need to search for in the telegram groups or in my history
| 4/20/2023 12:01:55 | pushix | 1) The biggest thing for me is to integrate login with farcaster with auth solutions (like Privy, but also any others). I typically don't want an exclusive "login with farcaster" but rather a plugin add-on to my existing auth solution. I believe this would lower the barrier to entry. 2) One-click hub running, with some simple customizations

| 4/20/2023 15:56:12 | mason | Hubs could have an API like geth/erigon where you can enable extra services, for example an indexer etc. An up-to-date OpenAPI spec could be valuable I think.

| 4/20/2023 17:14:31 | manan | - Make react native (without native modules) a first class platform for farcaster-core and other libraries. - Move to discord or slack instead of telegram chats for devs. 1 less tool for us to keep a track of, better service desk because of search, etc. e.g. didn't know about the signer telegram group.

| 4/20/2023 19:32:14 | bli | - I want hubs to support fetching casts using the username/shortenedHash method similar to what the Warpcast API can do on the user-thread-casts route. - Warpcast app should show when the signer was initially created in addition to the time it was resubmitted to hubs so that someone can know exactly which signer they are deleting without accidentally clearing past casts. - Hubs: verifications endpoint not working for old verifications generated before a specific date - Running list of additional thoughts and bug reports here: https://indigo-tellurium-c90.notion.site/Farcaster-Protocol-Feedback-7c2940b65261497ebe1c9c47d9fd6405
| 4/21/2023 7:14:52 | vern | - Simpler streaming API for getting relevant user events in realtime, ideally GraphQL over WS - GraphQL API with rich data types and flexible queries - Public BigQuery data: helps with taking network snapshots for external indexers + makes network analytics easier - Service to spin up dedicated hub with minimal maintenance -- should be as easy as spinning up node on Alchemy - General purpose ETL service / indexer that can sync Farcaster data from hubs to external database (mongo, postgres) - Developer portal with updated and aggregated docs in one place
| 4/21/2023 8:19:28 | @michaelwang | This answer is more meta, but I think the most important thing is a growing engaged user base. This week, per farcaster.network, it appears weekly new user growth has slowed, and even the ratio of new users to MAU appears low, indicating new users are not sticking around. I think the biggest thing that would help this are influencers, and influencers who are exclusive to the platform. For example, @vkr and fred wilson both exclusively cast here. They don't use twitter. Let your imagination run wild if let's say Vitalik and host of other high profile people say they would exclusively use only farcaster. I know that can't happen, just stating the extreme case, and if we can get semi-close to that.
| 4/21/2023 10:49:58 | timdaub | I want the warpcast add signer API, but I want to define to which endpoint that signeradd message goes. With Kiwistand, I‘d like to use my own p2p network but use the warpcast app as the identity wallet of my users

| 4/21/2023 15:31:48 | matallo | extensive documentation of all warpcast endpoints, with step by step tutorials and examples (specifically login with farcaster), and an easy way to get an api key to interact with the API otherwise, one-click hub setup that allows the above. I understand why it's one vs the other but the developer experience is very different. Using the email example, self-hosting your own email vs using gmail. hooks library and components library in React, doesn't necessarily have to be styled, can be headless utils library similar to https://github.com/twitter/twitter-text to parse casts content (i.e. usernames, links, embeds) metadata specification (part of API docs) this is more warpcast APIs than farcaster but would be cool some coordination to prevent every developer having to build their own embed renderers
