Introduction to SSIP During the 2024-2025 school year, the Strategic School Improvement Plan will continue to focus on outcome measures in the areas of English Language Arts/Reading, Math, and Attendance with a focus on curriculum, instruction and assessment and Social Emotional Learning. Data will be reviewed at least three times during the school year to measure outcome progress at the Beginning of the Year (BOY) in October, the Middle of the Year (MOY) in February, and the End of the Year (EOY) in June.

Progress Made During Previous School Year Overall students in Grades 6-8 Reading Assessments grew in benchmark or above grade level performance, by 8%
Overall students in Grades 6-8 Math Assessments grew in benchmark or above grade level performance, by 13%
Social Emotional Learning goals, Scofield Magnet Middle School adopted and implemented SEL programming and practices based on DESSA Assessment
-100% of all classroom teachers are trained in DESSA
As it relates to attendance, Scofield Magnet Middle School:
-Established an Attendance process where the school formed a committee, met regularly to review district wide practices, and reached out to support and engage families.
