Like I've seen more than one person posting... One person posting games, and the other GM News. But how about more people post both... Several posts lack depth.

For instance, when you post a graph about YoYo Games, analyze the trends. For instance how do they manage to have the upload bandwidth be half the download bandwidth. Does on average every uploaded game get 2 plays?

Provide more info and analysis rather then just summarizing items.		Agreed. Where articles are preplanned I think this is done well but it is not the case for breaking news.

I love the head to head comparisons of magazines and video shows.		Think we cover the media enough already. Some people think we cover it far too much.
Head to head comparisons are hard when there aren't two or more strong competing media projects releasing at the same or a similar time. Perhaps something about GM radio services could be done.		Head to Head comparison of GMIndie 21 and GMLive 9 done

Because I work on a computer all day, I get bored every now and again and flick of the GMB to see if there is anything to read about. It’s one of the few sites at my work which isn’t actually blocked (the GMC is blocked).Thanks. Will try to get more regular posts but sometimes it is very hard when not much is happening. Also hard to find contributors who will make regular posts.

Having you guys review some of the good tutorials would benefit everyone in the following ways:

1) Good tutorials would recieve more attention, thus people writing the good ones are more likely to write more (and generally other good tutorials)
2) You are experienced enough to tell which tutorials are good and which are shotty, and which explain good techniques vs bad

Something I've always disliked about other Game Maker news sites is that they are so interested in trying to snare people with sensational headlines that they end up not reporting any real news, and help spread bad rumors to boot. GMB generally avoids this, which makes it much more credible, in my mind.

Overall, I think you guys do a pretty good job. I wouldn't mind seeing more reviews / interviews, but I think you've hit a good stride with the number of posts you make now, so I'm not sure how well that would mesh with the way things are now.		Nested comments, so replies (at least one or two levels) get added to the person's comment that you are replying to, instead of at the end of the list. I know WordPress can do this.implemented

I don't need to see reviews of every GM related podcast, magazine, etc. I also don't need analysis of rivalries in the GM community. I'd prefer that GMB stick to news and commentary that I cannot find elsewhere. Point taken. We don't cover every release. But many people want to read about Game Maker media

There have been a few times where I thought articles were a bit harsh when talking about various GM magazines/TV shows that fail/suck, and thought it would be nicer to be more supportive and less critical...although in fairness, the magazines/TV shows are usually pretty amateurish...but yeah, that's the only area where I could maybe see improvement. Although to be honest, again, I haven't really noticed this kind of criticism as much in recent months. But yeah - feel free to do what you want! It's just something I noticed. Good luck with the blog, and thanks.I read the blog via my RSS Reader (Google Reader), so unfortunately I never really go to the site. The site seems clean and easy to navigate, though - there doesn't seem to be anything annoying about it. If I was you, I would probably put up more ads, because it might help you get more money and the site looks like it has the room to put them (there seems to be enough empty space to put another ad or two in there). Also, if you put ads in the RSS Feed, that might work too; that way, people like me who don't visit the site will also see the ads and thus hopefully earn you more money.More ads!? Didn't think I would hear that. Use of RSS feeds/aggregators is something we need to have a careful balance between.
Recently I was approached by another site who wished to automatically repost our articles in their forum and declined. Obviously there is little we can do to stop people doing this if they so wish, so I will probably look at including an advertisment in each RSS post.

You are aware that there were products with the same or very similar names before Mark Overmars made GM? It is generic term.
As people who read GMB are likely to use GM it makes sense for DSGM to want to advertise to people who are actively interested in easy game creation software
