TL:DR My friend was escorted by security off premises because 1 parent freaked out at him. My friend was in the emergency room at the hospital a few days ago. He is a regular there since he is on contract there to get his shots. He is on first name basis with the staff and security. So we was in the waiting room and he asked a father with his son if he could give his son a sucker. The same kind of suckers he had given to the nurses and security guard. Did the proper thing by asking the father of he could give his son a sucker. Dad replies "keep that God damn suckers to yourself!" Now him being a little slow on the uptake did not comprehend what was going though the dad's mind. He asked the dad when is old enough to have a sucker. Not even thinking that this man is assuming he is a pedophile. Well the dad freaks out and gets security. Security has to escort him out, the same guard who had about 6 of those same suckers in his pocket. It is really impacting him too, to be have been assumed to be a pedophile is devestating for him. "I look like a pedophile?" Just another man who is now scared to have interactions with children for fear of false accusations.

Several years ago, I was subjected to a level of disrespect from a fellow human being that I refused to let go unpunished. At the time, I was at a company weekend getaway that was held in a lavish resort. It was a glorified piss-up, and all expenses were paid by the corporate managers. On the second night the bar closed early, so we decided to go off in different groups throughout the resort, have more drinks, and enjoy the night. In the spirit of getting to know fellow members of the company from other branches, I went off to different groups and spent time with them. I was treated with respect by many of my fellow workers, and it turned out to be a great opportunity for networking. However, upon introducing myself to one group, I was treated with utter disrespect by one of the National Managers. She was a small Asian woman who was high on God-knows what, and drunk off her face. After I walked in and introduced myself to the others, she started screaming at me like an unstable maniac: “Who the fuck are you? Guys, seriously who the fuck is that in our room? I’ve never seen him before – why the fuck is he looking at me? WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME?!” she then screamed in an utterly abusive tone. One of the guys came up to me and apologetically suggested that I leave; explaining that she had had too much to drink. I was very disappointed that I didn’t get to meet more of my co-workers, and also that a National Manager had treated me in such a way. I refused to let this go down without a fight. On Monday I approached my boss and told her what had happened. She was outraged, and suggested that I make a formal complaint. The next day, I met up with the Deputy CEO and the General Manager of the company. I had no hope. Both of them were women, and they were on excellent terms with the National Manager who had abused me. According to them, the National Manager had a “natural charm”, and was “a lovely person” normally. Still, they got this unstable woman with a psychology degree to give me a call to apologize; which turned out to be very forced. I told that her that her behaviour had been unacceptable, and that the reason I had made a formal complaint was that I had been treated in such a way by a National Manager of all people. Three months later, I was out of the company, and the National Manager had been promoted.

Men, when they become in conflict with someone, generally deal with it head on. Whether this be by talking it out, completely forgetting the issue or forgiving the person, or through physical violence, the issue is generally dealt with quickly. I've seen boys and men beat the snot out of each other and go back to being friends the next day, or become friends. Women, however, seem to take a cloak-and-dagger approach to conflict. Instead of dealing with the issue directly they become increasingly angry with each other. They insult the other behind each others' backs, break up friendships by taking sides, and, generally, post passive-aggressive bullshit on Facebook. If a girl insults another girl's purse in the seventh grade, twenty years later they'll still hate each other and won't know why. And if things do get physical, things become a complete war zone. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think that this is a problem with how women are socialized from birth, or something else?

I am a man that was raped by two other men when I was 21 years old. Last summer I was in my town library and a book caught my eye - "On Being Raped" by R. M. Douglas. I opened it not knowing what to expect - turns out it's about a topic no one wants to talk about - the raping of adult men by other men. As a victim myself it was hard to read, I had to fight the urge to puke as the author told his story of being raped by a priest when he was in college. His life that followed was the worst part though. He was completely ignored by society. Nowhere would help him. His doctors TRIED TO CONVINCE HIM HE WAS GAY. This was several decades ago so thank God we don't have to deal with that shit nowadays, but much of the discrimination he faced still hasn't been fixed in our society. There were many support groups for women, but none for men. What is amazing to me is the attitude of the author. He is not bitter. He forgives the shortcomings of professionals and friends and family. Despite living most of his life without even so much as holding a girl's hand (because of his trauma), he just wanted to bring awareness to an issue no one talked about. I don't know, I think it's a good read for anybody, just wanted to put it out there.

You know what really grinds my gears? Not people who preach about social justice, which I think is a great goal to fight for. What really gets to me is people who talk about things upon which they have no idea what they're talking about. Amanda Marcotte, of Slate, is at the top of the list in this category. Based on her work on gamergate, she has no knowledge whatsoever about what game culture is actually about. Based on this article about comics, she has even less of an idea concerning what comic culture is about. I'm big into comic culture, go to any random convention on the west coast and there's an excellent chance I'll turn up. I've read comics all my life, and I'm not some guy who lives in his parent's basement. I don't expect everyone to be an expert on everything they write articles about, but what I do expect is some level of insight into why something is the way it is and not just some random, pointless statistics spouted out that prove absolutely nothing and offer even less insight. Look, being a comic fan is like any other clique, we'll tolerate a change of direction from people who are "cool" with us, but we will be far less tolerant of outsiders who don't know us and who don't know the "secret handshake". That's the first thing SJWs need to understand about both comics and gamergate, if you don't know the secret handshake, you're opinions aren't worth shit to a true believer. If Joss Wheddon says it, we'll stop and listen, if Amanda Marcotte says it, we won't. Wheddon not only "gets" us, he's one of us, we know he thinks the way we think. Wheddon might be one of the most prominent voices in comics for women. He invented Buffy Summers and Willow Rosenberg, he wrote 25 of the best issues of x-men ever which basically amounted to "Kitty Pryde and friends", and, oh yeah, he directed the Avengers. Between him and Gail Simmone (whose a genius) comics is more female friendly in large part because there are respected voices on the inside. Amanada Marcotte, and any random SJW can get as riled up as they want to, but 10,000 pages from them aren't worth the same as a word from Wheddon or Simone. Simone has been stumping for this cause for the last fifteen years, trying to make comics more gender-balanced, trying to recruit women into the business. We don't dislike her for it, because her birds of prey run was awesome, also did you read her secret six? That was cool. Comic fans want more Gail Simmones in the business, not because she's female, but because she's good at her job. If Zoe Quinn was good at developing games, instead of being a blot on the landscape that had to bend the press to try to get ahead, she would never have had to sleep with someone for a good review to begin with. Gail Simmone never did, she just wrote good comics. What should this (hopefully, but it won't) teach the Amanda Marcotte's of the world? A million sharp knives, torches and pitch-forks at the gate will just cause those on the inside to close ranks and defend the castle. A silent nudge on the inside, from a true believer, will achieve far more in less time. Gail Simmone has been pushing this, in complete obscurity, for the last fifteen years, but we've noticed. She's chipped away a bit here and a bit there, and gradually introduced change in small chunks that we can swallow. She never insisted that comics had to change completely right this instant. She was an insider, she knew it was a good old boys network, and that establishing trust in that network takes time and relationship building. She found middle ground that people of reason could agree on. Today, twenty years later, it seems absurd that Kyle Rainer's girlfriend was chopped up and stuck in a refridgerator. That will never be allowed to happen again, and Gail Simmone made that change happen. Most people in comics and games, are people of good will, people who want to enjoy a hobby without being judged by outside forces. They are decent people who will listen when an insider says "this is wrong, and we need to think about changing it". They want to do the right thing, and minds can be changed and hearts can be won. The problem is that they won't tolerate an outsider telling them that "gamers are dead" anymore than they'll tolerate an outsider telling them that "comic fans are dead". Say that, and nothing else you say matters. You have declared war, and you should be ready when shit hits the fan.

From time to time I find myself looking at videos regarding men's rights, and frequently have come across this problem, and I'm sure some of you have noticed. The videos are too damn long. Lets face it, most people, including myself, have pretty short attention spans. We want to see quick videos that get to the heart of the issue and then move on. We don't want to see a 30 minute youtube video of you rambling on the screen about the same crap. Take Christina H Sommers for instance, her videos are perfect. They're short, to the point, and contain a lot of information. These are the types of videos we need, because lets face it, many non-MRAs aren't particularly interested in what we have to say, and less so if they have to sit 30 minutes just to hear it. So in the future, if we want to be more marketable, lets aim for shorter videos that are actually sharable. I believe this will enable us to share our message more frequently, and spread it faster. I have neither the skills nor charisma to take on this task, so this is a message to those who do.

After seeing , it made me realize that maybe we need a place that caters exclusively to people looking for help in such situations. Would anyone be interested in something of the sort?

(Feel free to skip this paragraph, it's just a bit of back story) To preface, I'm a girl in high school. I chose to take Social Justice in my senior year, because I like talking and reading about social issues. Though I, as I tend to like to go against the the grain, have chosen to do my final essay/project on the injustices men face legally. My (also female) teacher has spent half the semester talking about the injustices women face throughout the world, which I completely understand, being a woman is still shit in a lot of countries. But she spent no time brushing up on any inequalities men face. It's pretty obvious she believes in the typical "privileged straight white male" and everything will therefore go their way. So I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to educate my class members a bit and do something my teacher might disagree with. Anyways, I'm splitting this into two topics: women face shorter sentences for the same crimes inequality in the family court I'm asking you for some help because I feel that this is something you guys are passionate about and could help me compile some credible sources. I have a good few already but I want to sway opinions here (even if it's only a few) so the more sources I can cite the better. Thanks for any and all links!

I cant help but think about another guys dick in her mouth. It makes me sick and annoyed. Just knowing every girl out there has been fucked by multiple different men. Why would I want them. I posted like a day ago about being falsely accused of raping my step sister, and I deleted it because I realized maybe I don't have too much to be worried about. I watched and read stuff about guys that had to go years fighting the case, ending up in jail anyway, and even when they got out they had to fight it.. I'm really freaking the fuck out because a lot of what I read is to get an attorney/lawyer to help, but even then the cops and such will still try to make me confess to something I didn't do and probably put words in my mouth. I can't afford a lawyer/attorney... I already feel defeated like my life is now over and I'm going to prison for a long time for something I didn't do and I'm on the verge of suicide. I am active in the menslib community in the SF bay area. MKP, and a few other groups are important passions of mine. Menslib doesn’t want to hear from men who disagree with their dogma. I pointed out the wage gap study of nurses. Male nurses make several percent more on average. They do it by specializing, working overtime, accepting undesirable shifts, and taking positions with additional responsibility. It is not oppression, unfairness, patriarchy, and sexism. They don’t want to hear it.

Hi MensRights I wanted to let you guys know that you aren't being ignored all over the world. My province in Canada has active campaigning for you. The other day on the radio I heard an advertisement for the prevention of family violence. It went something as follows: "I'm afraid of him coming home... I wish she would stop hitting me... I'm worried about my kids... Join us in the prevention of family violence" with voices from both genders. Their website has an image of both a man and a women being silenced by a hand, and it includes lenhy information sheets and statistics on females abusing men. When offered examples of it affecting men, you respond with equivocation: "No, that's different because it doesn't hurt men as much because reasons." And then you top it all off with hypocrisy. You claim that: "no seriously, feminism is about equality. There's no need for a men's rights movement because feminism as that covered." That's what's wrong with reddit. Time for update So you guys know the story so I don't need to go in the detail I went there to talk to my aunt and my uncle that'd be the best time to talk to them since all the girls going to have a hot girl summer and another country under the uncle dime the only person was there was the eldest cousin (30f) in the younger cousin(20m) when I went there my sister and cousin miss her flight so my uncle is trying really hard to make a accommodation for her because she didn't have the right paperwork to fly due to Coronavirus I left the house at 3:00 in the morning I got there at 6:00 in the morning I got there they were up getting accommodation done for my sister and cousin since I had a pretty long drive I did not bring up the conversation and went straight to the spare room they had for me I woke up around 1:00 in the afternoon my uncle is at work already so it's just me and my aunt talking while she was making me lunch she told me I know the reason why you came here she said I am shocked at my sister will say something like that to the uncle my reply was who tells you and how long you knew She told me that the older cousin told her both of them and she knew 3 weeks they told her that I was coming to ask question so they gave her a heads up remind you do the same people that said let it go don't bring up to the parent I don't even think my sister knows they told her My aunt told me that you know your sister she had mental issue and I told my aunt that I still got look into it as the big brother so ask a couple of questions the question was breaking my aunt heart This site is pretty much your typical pro feminist/SJW propaganda machine, but for some reason hardly anyone online has ever taken the time to dissect some of their articles and refute them. I've found like two YouTube videos responding to RationalWiki, and a couple little articles here and there talking about its bias. That's it.

We see people rioting , breaking windows, turning over police cars and sometimes even killing people. They seem to do it even though they themselves were not wronged or in anyway in danger. Is it possible that the latest 'moral panic' that is happening similar to this phenomena , could a large portion (or any portion) of these allegations be false and are simply people (read: women) simply jumping on the bandwagon because they believe so many other women have been assaulted. I mean we have had METOO and of course the public accusations there is no doubt that at least some of the allegations are true and just like a riot where some and perhaps even a large portion of the rioters are grieved and feel justified there is also a significant portion who aren't but are rather caught up in the wave of accusations almost to the point of "Jeez, if I don't accuse someone I am going to be left behind". What do you folks think?

I called Sen. Tammy Baldwin's office today. I got a staffer by the name of Ben, who I have not talked to yet, who has BY FAR showed the most promise in all of my dealings with Sen. Baldwin's office. I explained the situation to him, and he mentioned basically that the previous people didn't understand what I was trying to convey. (I don't understand how after 10'ish calls and talking to multiple people this can be the case, but I'll accept this explanation until I have a reason not to.) He actually mentioned that things "shouldn't go down this way". I am not sure if Ben is a higher up or if he is just someone that is more of a go-getter, but he told me he is going to personally contact the webmaster to see what can be done. He also mentioned he will try to clear up the confusion so I can get that email response. Hopefully they don't make me look like a fool for saying this, but I really do feel this conversation turned a corner for the better. A new staffer personally promising me action with pretty specific mentions of how that action will be taken. I'll give a new update about the response I get if/when I get one, and if they do update to add "Men's Issues" as topic then I'll be sure to let you know. I'd also like to give a shout out to everybody who has been tweeting about this, especially @mensrightsrdt, and to those who have been giving me responses on possible action I could consider if I continue to be ignored. This is not to excuse violent behaviour – it is abhorrent and we neither need it or want it in our society, but if we want to work towards a fairer, less violent world it would be more beneficial, surely, to have an honest and thorough look at the root causes of this behaviour rather than rely on what amounts to nothing more than a soundbite? In my latest novel – Quicksand of Memory – I have a mix of characters, male and female, who all act in ways that are toxic, but it is only the male characters who will have their behaviour reduced to an “explanation” that impugns their gender.

Okay, for starters there are two things we broadly agree on: first, where I live there is not enough support for male victims of domestic abuse, and second, rape laws should be modified so that penetration by the accused is not the defining factor. Some background, I'm a 22 year old male who has sex with women living in a large progressive non-anglophone city outside of the United States. - I have never been on a date and been expected to pay. - No one I have had a relationship with has ever expected expensive gifts from me. - I have one friend who knocked up a woman at a drunken party. He easily gained custody of the child when he found out the woman was an unfit mother by showing the court pictures of her smoking and drinking while pregnant. - I don't know any women who string along male friends with the promise of sex. Ie, I've never been 'friendzoned' and haven't seen it happen. - I don't know any women who expect preferential treatment on the basis of their sex. - I've never been made to feel particularly demonized for being male. If you have sex with a girl, and you get her pregnant (because that's 100% the man's fault), are you then obligated to marry her? So, I decided to come to MRA for help. My good friend, who is a wonderful man and awesome father to his son, is in the middle of an ugly divorce. His eventual ex is doing everything in her power to try and convince him to come back to her. She abused him, emotionally and physically, threatens to take the kid, etc. He long ago moved out, but she shows up at his house under the guise of wanting to see her kid, even though it's really all about continuing her controlling abuse and getting him "back." He tried to file for an injunction against her but basically was laughed out of the court at the notion that he was the battered party, despite her mental illnesses that predispose her toward violence. All the pamphlets (this is FL by the way) are geared toward abused women, nothing about men. She's burned through all his cash drawing out the divorce, and now his best shot at keeping her from stalking him has been burned. Is there much he can really do? Any ideas would be welcomed - I don't want to see him lose any custody of his beautiful boy, nor do I want to see him continue to live in fear of her next crazy attack.

I can understand universities granting scholarships to ethnic backgrounds because some church or whatever/whoever has made donations to the university wants a member from their community to benefit from their efforts. But since when can universities and companies create special opportunities for females only? If someone can point out to me that I have wrong facts and help me understand this I would really appreciate it (not sarcasm, I'm serious). At least I won't get frustrated the next I see something similar I have seen too many clubs and organizations for "women." If I start a new club tomorrow for only men in business, or men in engineering, or men in Comp Sci, I'm pretty sure there would be a bad publicity for the organization/club. Am I missing something here or what? Every time I see something I keep getting frustrated, and today this pissed me off beyond my threshold levels because as an immigrant to the country I have had a lot issues trying to earn an internship and other jobs, and I guarantee that there are a lot more people out there who probably needed just one opportunity to prove their qualifications, but never got that chance.

I know that something like 95% of workplace accidental deaths are men. If we remove those numbers, and the amount of men (and fewer women) that die young in war, is there a major effect on life expectancy, or is it negligible? What I'm saying is, do women live longer purely because they are less likely to be killed?

A little long but easy to follow. Women like men who can protect them (or have traits of that), and want to mate them. They have the best chance of survival with the more powerful males. Men want to mate with the best partner they can find for the best chance at surviving their offspring, so they do whatever the partners find most valuable which is being strong, protective, and risk dying for them. This is engrained biologically, because biologically we want to reproduce as a species or any species for that matter. Otherwise they would cease to exist and humans are quite successful as a species. Therefore: Men are more powerful (thus leaders), they protect more (thus risk their lives for their mate/children), etc. Men are engrained to protect the women, because they think it will bring sex to pass offspring. But women as a whole don't biologically (subconsciously) care about "protection" by supporting feminism, they subconsciously want the man that will best give them the best chance of survival, a man with powerful features. And when women cannot find a partner that can give them this protection, they rely on the collective whole to protect them, hence feminism. Fear is pushed, and any men that don't like feminism, don't want to protect women. There is a collective "need" for feminism to pass on children. Incels offer no biological reasoning to mate for offspring and there is no collective reasons for the survival of the species. They are hated the worst. Male feminists offer a collective need to keep them, but no biological desire in a woman's eyes. They are friends but not mates for offspring. Men who go off dying or risking their lives for their partner and family that they have, dont care as much about feminism. Women who have a partner willing to die for them, or partner with power, care about feminism to an extent, their partner can't protect them 24/7. Women who deeply care about feminism, fight it so hard because they know they won't be able to find a partner to protect them, they require the collective whole (feminism) to protect them.

On Friday I was making a point in class about how statistically numbers show Women getting raped much more than men, but research shows that men get raped almost as equally as women. However it often either goes unreported is done by a mother man or twisted to look like the man raped the woman. Now this girl chimes in and goes: “as a victim of rape i feel that you are false.” To which I simply replied; “Oh? how is that” she fumbled and managed to gather (from her ass) these crazy unbacked stats saying “80%of women have been raped” but than, oh but than she said the thing i hate most “and gay men are victims of rape all of the time” because aren’t all gay rapes done by gay men? so she is making a gross generalization it just makes me mad.

My wife just heard gossip from the annual Managers Conference of her company, that she was unable to attend. After the day's speaking engagements and slide shows, the evening festivities began and the drink began to flow... One female manager spent the evening on the dance floor, grinding up against a male executive, The disco ended at 12:30 but they continued drinking together well into the early hours. (There's nothing wrong with this, but this might get revisited...) Another female manager straight up asked, her boss' boss, on which side does his c\ck rest when he puts on trousers. - an OVERT sexual harassment. Often, it results in them losing their jobs, career, reputation, freedom, and in some cases, even their lives. I'd appreciate you reading through this, and not just downvoting. I am a feminist, and a man, dating and living with a feminist who is not a man. I care about equality. But I have seen some of you getting worked up about feminists acting like all men are rapists. I've decided to try an explain why it seems that way. (There are, obviously, some feminists who do believe that. But most do not.) Women on the street face harassment all the time. Everything from a simple "what are you reading?" whilst on public transport, to wolf whistles and cat calls multiple times a day, to being groped as they walk down the street can be harassment. (You may wonder why the first is harassment, but imagine if you were asked it by women every day for a year. And not attractive women either. Sometimes women who you actually find physically repulsive. Every day. And they won't stop talking to you without you giving them your name and number. And they threaten you if you won't talk. And they are bigger and stronger than you. That is the experience of some women.) Women have no way of telling whether a man is okay or not in advance. Some are great guys. Some are rapists. Some are rapists who think they are great guys. (1 in 12 of college aged men in America will admit to sexual assault/rape if the word "rape is not used in the question.) So it's easier, and safer for them to not trust any guys in public. It's easier to read a book, listen to music, and try and shut any guy down as fast as possible. Because you have no idea if this guy is going to yell at you. Call you horrible names. Scare you until you think he might well kill or rape you. As to why a lot of feminists consider most rape prevention tips to have major issues. There's two sides to that. One side is because it presumes that rape is a force of nature. That all guys are rapists, and that they have no self control. And you people, the Men's Rights Activists, should be as upset by that as anyone! How dare they presume the default state of a man is a rapist. But I haven't seen that from you. I've seen whining about how feminists complain about "victim blaming", which is the other side. And I'm going to try and explain why we say that, and why it's a problem, using the standard example of theft. So say a friend of yours has their car broken into. You could respond in two ways. Consoling them, saying how shitty the person was for doing that. Even if they parked in a bad area, the person who did it is still shitty, and you comfort them. Or you can jump right in and blame them for parking there, for not taking their valuables with them, for not parking in a garage in a safe area. But if you do that, you're being a shitty friend, and a shitty person. They don't need to be reminded of what they could have done to prevent it. It's too late now. They need to be reminded the crime is not their fault. And that's why we call it "victim blaming". Because it blames the victim, not the criminal, for the crime. It acts like criminals are a force of nature, not just ordinary people like me or you. And that is not right. I'll happily answer any questions you have, though I can't promise to be fast.

So on my drive home from work today, something occurred to me. I peruse this subreddit occasionally, being a male who is aware of how things are, and I noticed a post here made by another member about SRS raiding several subs, Menrights among them. SRS had posted this to it's front page. It wasn't some rumor, it was condoned. It was this that dawned on me: I see this all the time. It's either 4chan-esque trolls, or these white knight and internet feminist types that do this sort of thing, and it seems to me it's mostly one-sided. They almost seem to pick targets that they know won't fight back too. Like TheRedPill and MensRights, which live under the gavel and know better than to retaliate. They use excuses like social issues to essentially be bullies, and they select prey based on the inability or lack of desire to fight back. I wasn't super sure until I remembered seeing Polandball mentioned on their list. I remember being puzzled reading it. Polandball? I read Polandball. They're a silly group that is 100% jest and takes nothing seriously. A totally harmless group of tongue-in-cheek political cartoon doodlers. Why them? Of course. They're reddit's version of nerds. Affable, generally well-learned people who will do (in the bully's mind) the adult version of pussing out of the fight: Not even engaging because why bother. It's the only reason I can even think to bother this group. Because they're an easy target that will have no idea why you are even bothering them. Justification? All the silly Kebap comics are very oppressive I'm sure. They do this sort of thing and it's considered "ethical" by the majority of people, but when is cramming your opinion down somebody's throat ever ethical? They shut down rallies, close subreddits, basically squelch the opposition. They're grown-up bullies, just like fundy anti-abortionists or talk show blowhards. The powers that be really need to step their game up and prevent this sort of nonsense from being allowed to make the rules. Subreddits like Clopclop exist with impunity while FPH is closed. It's like we're just catering to ONE crowd here. I don't know. It just seems like in the interests of "equality" we're forgetting what fair actually looks like, and we're letting bullies do as they please specifically because they're born with (or agree with someone who has) labia. Or is gay/trans/vegan etc. It's all the same strategy. There has to be a better way to reach a consensus.

We’re all being systematically coerced.

I watched The Red Pill I found it very moving how honest and open the topic was approached. Seeing this kind of earnestness can move me to tears. I have one big question that didn't get answered in the film. It's clear that the feminists blame men for most of what they feel is wrong in the world. Who is it that the men's rights movement blame? Women? Other men? Themselves? Something vague like "society" or "the system"? Who is their oppressor?

People may think this post is sexist, but I argue the opposite. I think it's sexist to disagree. Many countries have a system called conscription, where when a person turns 18, they must join the military whether they want to or not. They learn various skills; they train for a period that's usually 6 months to 2 years. They learn engineering, trades, and discipline/organization. In the vast majority of countries, this . So men have this experience and training, but women don't. So, I think in countries where only men are conscripted, it's completely fair and rational to assume the average male worker is better than the average female worker. Why? Because men and women are naturally equal. I think men and women are naturally equal. But I strongly believe that in a country with male only conscription, the average man is a better worker than the average woman. Why? The training. People always talk about how national service is very beneficial, and teaches discipline and good work ethic. If this is true, than men should be better at these things than women, because they have that training and experience, while women do not. If the genders really are equal- which I believe- then surely the gender that gets this extra training would be superior at work and discipline than then gender that doesn't? So, if I was hiring, and I had two candidates who had equal resumes- a man and woman- I'd choose the man 100% of the time. Because they aren't equal...at 18, the woman was drinking and partying and having fun, while the man was learning discipline and routine and structure. It would make no sense to treat the female applicant equally. Perhaps the woman was studying and working, but that's still not being forced to do something the man had to do. The man had to do an 'extra' degree of training and studying that the woman never had to do. I think it's sexist to disagree. If you disagree, you're saying that men are equal even if they have extra training and education....that makes no sense. If the genders are equal, wouldn't the gender with extra training and education be, well, better educated and trained? Imagine the genders flipped- imagine if women had to do an intense year of training that men didn't have to do. In that scenario, it would make sense to say women are better trained and more skilled on average, right? So why wouldn't the same be true when it's men who get that training?

Every culture has some fear of "typical" men flowing in its undercurrents. But only in the USA, AFAIK, this fear has been able to mobilize so successfully such central institutions as the government/president, military, and universities, perhaps also the law enforcement and justice system. Nowhere else have I seen the idea of "typical men as rapists" become a part of the popular discourse (=allowed to be expressed freely) the same way as in the USA. Am I mistaken? Where do you think this peculiar and very harmful idea came from? ("Rape culture" is often used as if it described the reality itself. As I see it, it's clearly a representation that's mostly backed up by ideology, false statistics, media hysteria, and moral panic. Every reasonable person should be interested in fighting rape culture in this latter meaning because it harms everybody and young men and women in particular.)

Most anti-circumcision campaign comes from Intactivist movements, European Human Rights groups and European Medical groups, Mens Rights groups and some Mothers groups. Why are Feminists, LGBT-rights groups and US Human Rights groups staying away from this issue? Why are US Medical groups either for or neutral towards circumcision, but not against? The Jewish groups are powerful enough to slow down and stop anti-circumcision legislation in Europe. They are much much more stronger and influential in pro-circumcision US. How do you intend to deal with the Jewish lobby without being accused of anti-semitism? Am I a bigot if I think that amputating a prepuce when it is not medically necessary to do so is barbaric and uncultured?

This morning, I was making eggs for my family's breakfast and using leftover heat from the oven (cooking bacon) to warm the plates so that the eggs would not get cold after being transferred to the plates. I have done this hundreds of times. Warming the plates prevents otherwise cold plates from sucking the heat from the family's bacon, eggs, and pancakes at breakfast, thus making their breakfast more enjoyable for them. This morning, the heat broke a plate. This is a Gibson everyday plate, not too hard to get a replacement for, we can definitely afford it, many thousands and thousands of times over. Up until now, heating breakfast plates this way has never been a problem. Hearing the plate break, my wife rushed into the kitchen and loudly/angrily exclaimed "oh no, one of my plates I always tell you to never heat the plates like that Oh no, my plate my plate" in front of our kids. Okay, two things: 1. She has expressed uncertainty about the heat possibly damaging the plates, like 2 or 3 times in the last 3 years, not "always". But, okay, people exaggerate. 2. However, she did not once ask me if I was ok or injured at all. Instead, she made a replaceable plate more important than my well-being, in front of our children. After repeated criticisms and angry statements from her about the plate, while I held my tongue, I brought her to another room and privately pointed out to her that she was making the plate damage more important that my health and safety by not asking if I was ok. I went back to the kitchen to try and continue breakfast preparations, and she came in and continued to criticize me for breaking the plate. I eventually had to point out, in front of the kids (since she was making it a public discussion) that she seemed to care more about the plate than about my well-being and safety. She tried to make excuses ("you didn't say you were hurt so I assumed you weren't" kind of thing, despite the fact that silence is a fairly normal shock response to a bad injury) but I kept going back to her initial concern being about the plate than about my safety. I get that this is a pretty tiny exchange against the larger backdrop of male dehumanization... I am past middle age and know that society doesn't value men in general. But, wow, to have a plate declared as more important than me in front of my family, that really, really, hurt.

Men have been taking up about 95% of those perpetrating murder for the past few years, recently falling down to 88%. When they murder, victims are around a 70% chance to be other men. While male-as-perpetrator stats have fallen, obviously women's stats have risen. It should be noted, though, that women account for almost the entirety of attempted and successful killing of their own offspring, (do not include the reproductive right of abortion here, it is legally recognized and I am a supporter) and have laws in various countries to lessen their sentences for killing their children based on circumstances. Their second choice of victim after children is men. If you want to call all men violent nutjobs, why can we not say such things about women with equal callousness? So why this huge outrage when a man kills a woman? Could it be like when some racists see black-on-black crime all they can imagine is a problem solving itself? So therefore when a white is killed by a person of color, or vice-versa, it usually makes headlines. However, we don't see the same happen when a woman kills a man. We're all very well aware of why. Racism and sexism are a big problem in this country. We all know what races are suffering what, but we as a nation are very, very bad at recognizing the troubles of the half of the population almost solely responsible for protecting the country, providing for it, keeping its infrastructure up, and repairing all things that need repairing. Instead we blame that half for everything and ignore where they are exceedingly important to human civilization's survival and advancement as we know it. Obviously, truth in pursuit of equality is what we strive for here, so it's important to recognize that men do make up the majority of rape and murder perpetrators and victims (include prison rapes and statutory or, and it is very simple to just theorize off the bat that if women were biologically as physically powerful as men things might be more even across the board. But that seems to be the selling point of this whole "men are cruel by having penises, women are victims by having vaginas" garbage. Gynocentrism. You can see it in the highjacking of well-intentioned affirmative action giving women all funding for domestic violence shelters, with zero for men's, these increasingly comfortable living spaces in women's prisons while men's prisons are experiencing a hunger strike to protest privatized slave labor and rape rates, recent U.K. laws recognizing women as a decriminalized gender, women's supremacy in family courts as well as in any accusation laid against a man versus a man against a woman or even white against black, but before I create a four-paragraph list of where feminists have privileged women to go on domineering with cruel smugness, I have to run things back a bit. "Women's supremacy", that thing that was missing from the dismantled chivalrous patriarchal society before the 1970s began to die. In the old model of gynocentrism we had men on top with women both caged and coddled underneath, men did everything and got everything. Now women are doing some things...but working their way into getting everything. We've cast down patriarchy but here we are with murder rates like never before and gynocentrism still puppeteering that old patriarchal chivalry's corpse to get all the affirmative action and comforting legal and social norms a feminist can command. Women aren't victims, they're people. Men aren't murderers, they're people. We're not going to get that through to people until they learn of the old term called "gynocentrism" and how it runs damn near the entire animal kingdom. If it is not realized I'm afraid we may be seeing actual feminazis with actual brutal power and actual feminazi policies in the future of the US.

I know this is probably brought up all the time, but it’s ridiculous how girls are allowed to call guys ugly, demand 6’0+ men, 6” dick, lot of money, perfect hair, and nice clothes but if a guy says anything about a girl it’s automatically sexist. I think feminism is misguided because it leads people to believe that a man's and women's biology has nothing to do with their roles in society. This is false. If anyone has study evolutionary biology (which I have, a little) you would know that men, and women are two different gender's that evolved differently. So it's only reasonable that men and women naturally gravitate to certain social roles/occupations. Overall, I think feminist should spend less time looking at the "social construct" and more time looking at biology. Both are factors. Not just one.

I'm not sure what I expected...

I've been married for several years in Oklahoma and came into the marriage with a rental property. We keep all of our finances separate and I have a prenup in which she gives up all marital claim to the rental. I recently purchased a second rental using the equity from the first. I was explicite during the entire process that I did not want my wife involved. I was assured that she would not be, but two days before closing on the loan I was told she had to sign away rights to the house, (even though she had none to begin with) which i found odd but went along with it anyway. A few weeks later I received a "correction quick claim deed" in the mail with her name on the property. in other words, she now owns half the rental. I was furious and contacted the title company and they informed me that it was mandated by law and also that they were instructed to do so by the mortgage company. So I called my loan officer and at first he said it was a mistake and that the correction was just to take her off the deed. The next time I talked to him he changed his story saying that it was mandated by law and that he had told me this all along! I never agreed to this and I feel like I just got robbed. I immediately called my lawyer and he told me there is no such law requireing her to be on the deed and at most they just needed her to sign a paper saying she was aware that I was taking out a loan. The only solution is for her to file another quit claim deed in which her name is taken off which luckily she is going to do, but I still feel like what the title and mortgage company did was illegal. What should I do at this point? Do you think I could get them to pay my attorney fees, or report them... im not sure what to do at this point. the problem is resolved but I had to take care of it and they never so much as apologized.

Just a public service announcement: The thread with the anti-feminist on IAMA was likely faked (my guess is /r/GameofTrolls), and it was NOT removed by feminist mods. It was removed because it didn't meet their submission guidelines. That subreddit has made their submission guidelines and mod policy very clear, and people who don't follow it will have their submissions removed. The follow up thread in AskReddit where they discuss it being removed is also by the same group of people. Why do I say this? Because they posted a screenshot that purportedly showed that the mods removed the IAMA thread for feminist reasons, and that screenshot was faked. The AskReddit thread was removed because the whole thing was faked, NOT because it was some feminist mod conspiracy. qgyh2 even spoke out in support of the AskReddit thread (he is a feminist), until he found out it was faked. /r/MensRights has been making it to /r/all recently. The admins are changing that. They have created a new filter called "popular", which excludes "A handful of subreddits that were heavily filtered out of users’ r/all" Based on their rule set, they have created a huge list of subs that are included. /r/MensRights is not, despite our subscriber count being higher than some of the others. Just thought people would like to know.

There was a study posted to this sub a while back which measured the frequency of online harassment in both boys and girls, and I don't seem to be able to find it. The results were that 18 year old males had seen the most harassment, but everything I turn up claims the opposite...

Is there a reasoning that they haven't changed this? This could go both as discrimination against men or women I am aware but still why are only men affected by this in 2020?

The following isn't a rant just some musings of mine based on an observation I've recently made. I've enjoyed watching Catfish on MTV for several reasons but most of all as it shows without a need to refer to scientific surveys that the dangers of meeting people online are real for men and women. The issue of online abuse and stalking is not just (as the media tells us) all about men being unable to respect women. From government ministers giving priority to laws on revenge porn to Twitter allowing feminist political groups access to the filter system, the whole debate has yet again been 100% gynocentric and has failed to deal with the facts of this issue that actually online, women are just as abusive as men, not just to men but also to their own gender. I like the way Catfish has always shown that but the series I'm currently watching appears to be using guest co-hosts to stand-in for Max and now we have people saying things like 'I think it's important especially for guys to respect women/accept no for an answer' and this kind of crap. The show to date has not attempted to paint one gender or the other as particularly guilty in this area but has been I think an honest attempt to show to everyone how we are all equally responsible for our behaviour towards others and equally at risk from deception. Sadly the politicians and media in the UK continue to use very gendered language on this issue.

A lot of us on here are everyday liberals who simply want men to have same rights as women, nothing more. We dislike traditional gender roles as much as feminists do, and we believe in equal rights for all- gay, black, trans or whatever. The question I have is, why would we support abortion rights for women when they refuse to grant same rights to us men? At least we would be equally disadvantaged if none had them. While out of principle I strongly believe for people to have a right to choose when it comes to their reproduction it has to be for everyone or none at all. It's like , why would black slaves in 1800's support white land-less people being granted the right to vote, when they themselves do not have it? What do you guys think on the matter? Would feminists think twice about men's rights when men on mass withdraw their abortion support?

And human beings tend to always try to force things down everyones throat. Which brings me to another point why must we always go to the exteme? I will never understand why people always choose one side and go all the way regardless of the flaws, stop taking the easy choice and use some critical thinking with a bit of objectivity please! One last thing that truly bothers me is the fact that feminism is now in league with social justice warriors which sound like a bunch of facist jerks to be honest, its no different then being a bully which is the very thing ironically is what many sjws complain about which is abuse, harassment and etc. And the fact there are for worse problems going on in the world that we need to face yet somehow feminists do not feel equal and all the other problems are not there concern. All this energy and effort can be used for far better things ensuring a better future for our children:) In the end all this is really doing is causing more problems between our genders and separating us even more, I want to unite with people I want us to stand strong and make our communities great and help one another but everyday it becomes more of a lost dream due to the actions of many like this.

Hi! I was just met with in the /r/Feminism subreddit. I was thinking, should someone try to get a respectable feminism subreddit started? Why? Because feminists wanting to talk or read about feministic issues on Reddit will find /r/feminism and they will only see misleading, heavily censored stuff. Having another subreddit they can go to so the feminists can read more sensible stuff, might help everyone. PS: I am prepared to be downvoted to hell, but hopefully someone will at least understand. So my school mostly consists of people who couldn't care less about feminism or men's rights. However, of the people who do decide to indulge in the shitstorm that is identity politics, I am the only MRA. The only one. I've spoken to the teachers who hold neutral standpoints and they say I'm brave and I'm doing the right thing by standing up for everyone equally, which is nice to hear. But all that doesn't matter since all the student body meetings are asking for mandatory feminism assemblies, mandatory feminism, feminism as the norm, etc. I try to contest this by disallowing them to force an ideology on the students, and I was met by feminists who were disgusted by me calling it an ideology. They wanted it to be the norm. They want it to be fact. And this isn't just at meetings specifically devoted to inclusion (of which there is hypocritically little of in terms of opinions). The classes do it too. A good portion of discussion in history is just about "how important women were". That's right. Not just how women were treated, as you'd expect. Not even "how were gender roles seen in history?". Just worshipping women. And when you read the records and old texts that just scream how idolized women were, there is still oppression and misogyny somehow. This is not even to mention how utterly important men were as well. I denounce that it was genitals that decided who was going to be the great inventors of history, but if you want to categorize women as important I'll just list the thousands of genius men who created modern society. Why not? They did something important apparently because of their gender, right? I mean it's only fair. It's only equality. But I forgot feminists hate equality. I don't want education to be giving people misinformation of where we are located in the solar system because of religion. Just like I don't want people learning about how hated women were in history when they were fucking goddesses to everyone, including women in lower social levels. And just as a side note, I am fully aware ancient societies were patriarchal, but even though women were not allowed much political power, they pulled all the strings of the household, of the social structure, their husband's friends and business affairs. That's not even to mention there are plenty of examples of women reaching high political power with no contest. Sure tradition said men held legal power, but society said if you disagree with a woman or don't treat her like a goddess you will be shunned.

I worked at a Hospital, I was on the lowest payband. I started seeing someone who was eventually promoted as my boss. We fell out and I felt I had no choice but to leave. One of the comments from her colleagues was that I was a loser and had no prospects. I hit the books, passed the exams and am now rejoining the organisation as a Management Accountant. Several pay points above her. I am not going to be a dick. But I am going to enjoy the look on their faces when they see me again.

Watching an old episode of Only Fools And Horses. Can't believe I just heard that line from the mouth of a character in one of the UK's greatest ever comedies. A programme once watched on Christmas Day by half the population of the country. Something a few years a go I probably wouldn't have even noticed, back in the days when I like many poor sods just accepted feminism as the standard way of life. I didn't see it as pure political ideology. I like most men saw it not even as a progressive idea, just a normal natural response to years of injustice for women. How naive I was. Now when that kind of talk pops up in old comedies and dramas from past decades it makes my toes curl. I see it for what is really is.
