4/16Mapping Our Social Change Roles in Times of CrisisA mapping exercise that helps us identify our roles in a social change ecosystem. Together, the map and reflection guide can be used at an individual level to reflect, assess, and plan, as well as at staff and board retreats, team-building meetings, orientations, and strategy sessions. This exercise can especially be helpful to re-align ourselves when we feel lost, confused, and uncertain in order to bring our fullest selves to the causes and movements that matter to us.

Creating Your Pod (Handout from the Bay Area Transformative Justice Coalition) Transformative Justice (TJ) is a political framework and approach for responding to violence, harm and abuse. At its most basic, it seeks to respond to violence without creating more violence and/or engaging in harm reduction to lessen the violence. Because TJ means not relying on state systems, it means building our own systems, our own communities, our own lines of both support and accountability. A lot of people (both already involved in TJ already and not) have been sharing TJ resources as a response to Coronoavirus in response to the disruption to systems normally in place (eg. state, school, work).https://batjc.wordpress.com/pods-and-pod-mapping-worksheet/?fbclid=IwAR2xqN7OiUEykU6UfufDyG5eKu_AQG2at3QdfB1D8zahu9OAPkp0cQHWhX0x
