What does the sage tell you about the monster? It is said they come from the workshop of some creator, and look the most like spiders, but also with something of the cat. In size they are somewhat large, and they are usually found in a colony. They are known to be dumb beasts. Their hearts are filled with malevolence. They are most often found in swamps, where they use their machines. Those who gaze upon them note their disgusting appearance, that they smell somewhat of charcoal, and hear barking. They are said to be able to ward magical effects, while being sore troubled by daylight. But others say their trouble is only the tradition of an elder folk. Mostly they fight with throwing and stomps. Some seek to use them for alchemical ingredients. Everyone that meets them finds them to be unspeakably brutal.
