This worksheet can be used to identify possible environmental impacts which will fulfill the requirement of ISO 14001. For each impact, you must assign a quantitative score. This score can be used to determine if the risk of the impact is significant. Add additional controls to significant risks in order to reduce the score and show yoru auditor continual improvement. Don't forget to save each update as a new revision (or date controlled revision) so that you can demonstrate the evolution of your environmental management system.

This is recommended for significant risks but additional operational controls can be implemented for any risk. The risk assessment should be reviewed at least annually, when there is a new or different process, in response to an incident, or if there is a new or different risk identified.
