Belfagan Women's MorrisMorris FederationUKNFemaleYThrostle's Nesthttp://www.belfagan.org.ukCumberland Morris MenBelfagan was created when there was some sort of "falling out" amongst the members of Throstle's Nest, based in Wigton. Some members left to form Belfagan, while other's remained in TN, which only survived a short while after the split, despite the fact that they took all the musicians with them.ally McGurk ally @ belfagan.org.uk Pinafore dresses in individual fabrics (but a touch of red must be included in the pattern) with cherry red underskirts. A white petticoat is worn underneath, with a little embroidery showing under the skirt. Hankies with loops are carried on buttons on each side of the dress, and ribbons are also fixed here. White blouses: sleeve length depends on the season and the style depends on where we can obtain a set of matching blouses. Maroon tights in winter, maroon socks in summer. Maroon clogs with bells and ribbons. Musicians try to wear something in the same shade of red, but don't have kit as such, and everyone has maroon fleeces with the Belfagan sheep logo.
