| Kendrick Lamar - Determined | December 31st, 2009 | before Kendrick's mainstream debut, could be a throwaway bar / may have been foreshadowing his attack against Drake | ”But as you listening to K-D-O T Man, me and my girl split the bucket of KFC She listening to Drake and all I can say is "Damn, these niggas that much better than me, baby?" (verse 3) | This is the first time Kendrick directly mentioned Drake in a song Produced by Sounwave
| Kendrick Lamar - Look Out For Detox | November 19th, 2010 | Sweet sixteens Got a sweet sixteen and they deadlier than sin I’m so appalled With the prototype with a godly protocol You an amateur, they wanna pro to call I damage ya on camera, in Compton, in Canada I don’t care where ya are Just blink twice and I’m there where you are Like a shadow in the dark, you a paddle in the boat In an ocean full of sharks bout to come up short | Kendrick subliminally disses Drake, and reinforces that he would destroy him. Could the "sweet sixteens" bar be alluding to Drake being with minors? Produced by Ludwig Göransson & Childish Gambino
| Pusha T - Don’t Fuck With Me | September 26th, 2011 | Started when Birdman featured Clipse on a song and refused to pay them. Clipse then decided to go against Cash Money Records, beefing with Lil Wayne for a while. As Drake was becoming a protégé for Cash Money Records, Pusha decided to go for his throat due to prior beef with Cash Money Records | Rappers on their sophomores Actin' like they boss lords Fame such a funny thing for sure When niggas start believing all them encores I’m just the one to send you off, bonjour See yourself as I pull up in that mirror tint Skins vs blouses, you mirror Prince Chappelle Show, all of you Neal Brennans Sketch comedy, who was for real pennin'? The talk don’t match the leather The swag don’t match the sweaters And wolves don’t walk with shepherds These Margiela verses all you mall dwellers Off-the rack suit's looking like pallbearers Coffins for my old bitches’ orphans Daddy’s MIA like a dolphin Play the Fendi bucket like a shark's fin Cool J-ing on you bitches | * Samples Drake’s “Dreams Money Can Buy” and verse 2 is solely about Drake and his fake tough talk and ghostwriting allegations. There’s a J Prince reference, but it’s a triple entendre because of Drake’s J. Prince ties and Neal Brennan writing for Chappelle’s Show (though Brennan was credited as a writer, the implication is others are writing for Drake)
| Adam Bomb - Canada Sucks | November 8th, 2011 | Yo, now let me tell you ‘bout some rappers that I actually know, Hate my guts but wanna give dap to me ‘do, This lil’ industry puppet named- | Adam Bomb is a Canadian rapper who has interviews talking about his beef with Drake (further research required)
| Ludacris - Bada Boom | ???, 2011 | Luda responds to Drake's accusation of stealing the punchline flow style (comment made in 2010 interview with Allhiphop.com) and responds by calling him unoriginal
| Drake ft. Kendrick Lamar - Buried Alive Interlude | November 15th, 2011 | I tell a bad bitch yo' ass too fat, capitalize that And your weave look good with the Indian tracks Trackin' device on your used 5 series I don't call back, just blame it on your Canadian The same day we say were in the area cruisin' in Toronto Hit me on the cellular thought he was gonna sell me a false word like the rappers I know / So blame it on Mr. OVOXO The reason why I'm breathin' all the vanity I know The reason why my best friend said she love me more than life But I live a double life and need to let her go The reason why the highlight was when he said You belong to the people when you're outside So dig a shovel full of money, full of power, full of pussy, full of fame And bury yourself alive, then I died | Kendrick talks about the warnings of temptations and vanity, and makes the listeners ask "will he escape this pine box, or will he be buried alive?"
| Common - Sweet | December 20th, 2011 | "Singing all around me man, la la la, you ain't muthafucking Frank Sinatra" / "y'all niggas man, you soft motherfuckers" / "you too soft for that man, you get in my presence you gon' feel like a real ho" | Common used to date Serena Williams from 2007-2010. After breaking up, she was talking to Drake for a bit. Common felt that Drake was being "vaguely antagonistic" after a tweet mentioning Common's lyrics and he felt the need to respond, and so he responds with this song. He confirms this song is about Drake in an interview.
| Common - Stay Schemin' | April 17th, 2012 | * Son of a bitch, I imagine what your father is * How you make your opponent the rapper of the moment? His style, he don’t own it * Acting all hard when he hardly like that * A bitch because you sing, you a bitch because you cling, like a bitch that’s eighteen * Can’t say my name but rap about a nigga’s wife, you so black and white trying to live a nigga’s life * I’m taking too long with this amateur guy, You ain’t wet nobody, nigga, you Canada dry * Don’t hide behind them other niggas | After Drake responded with the song Stay Schemin', Common remixes it and continues to diss Drake. Drake has yet to respond to this song.
| Pusha T, The Dream - Exodus 23:1 | May 24th, 2012 | * “Beef is when you hide behind them other niggas / But they ain’t killers they ain’t pullin’ them triggers, fuck niggas” * “Fuck you playing games for / Don’t be scared get everything you came for / They got you talking that big g shit / Little do you know we don’t miss shit / Them niggas using you as a pawn / You see they never loaded they guns / Now you out here all by yourself / Ask Steve Jobs, wealth don’t buy health | Pusha continues to send subliminals, it seems safe to assume that these lyrics are most likely about Drake.
| Kendrick Lamar - Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe | June 25th, 2012 | * I can feel the changes, I can feel the new people around me just want to be famous, You can see that my city found me, Then put me on stages, to me that's amazin', To you that's a quick check, With all disrespect, let me say this | Kendrick raps about the fake people around him. This could be a general statement, but these lyrics could apply directly to Drake as well. “That’s really subliminal at everybody getting mixed in a situation where everyone wants to have creative control. That’s the vibe I wanted to kill. That’s why I threw that record out. If you listen to some of the words, it’s real intricate, but it makes sense.” -Kendrick
| Kendrick Lamar - money trees | June 25th, 2012 | You lookin' like an easy come-up, ya bish (ya bish, ya bish) A silver spoon, I know you come from, ya bish (ya bish, ya bish) And that's a lifestyle that we never knew (we never knew, we never knew) Go at a reverend for the revenue | Kendrick raps about his dislike of people with privileged upbringings. This could be a generalised thought, but this could also apply directly to Drake who grew up in a nice, well-off Jewish community in Canada.
| Kendrick Lamar ft. Drake - Poetic Justice | June 25th, 2012 | Kendrick- "I recognize your fragrance, hol' up, you ain't never gotta say shit, uh And I know your taste is a little bit, mmm, high maintenance, uh Everybody else basic, you live life on an everyday basis With poetic justice, poetic justice If I told you that a flower bloomed in a dark room, would you trust it? I mean, I write poems in these songs dedicated to you when You're in the mood for empathy, there's blood in my pen Better yet, where your friends and 'em? I really wanna know you all I really wanna show you off Fuck that, pour up plenty of champagne Cold nights when you curse this name You called up your girlfriends and y'all curled in that little bitty Range, I heard that She wanna go and party, she wanna go and party Nigga, don't approach her with that Atari Nigga, that ain't good game, homie, sorry They say conversation rule a nation, I can tell" But I could never right my wrongs 'less I write it down for real, PS" | This whole song seems like a way to attempt to communicate to or subtly diss Drake. Although the lyrics apply to having feelings for a woman, they can also be interpreted as sneak disses towards Drake. Another thing to consider is the possibility that Kendrick wrote Drake's verse on this song; if that is the case, then this song is some diabolical level of sabotage. Kendrick's verse ends with the line "But I could never right my wrongs 'less I write it down for real, PS". This shows the irony of being unable to right his wrongdoings and negative experiences of his youth unless he “writes them down for real”. Everything he spits is real or has happened and the only way to right his wrongs is by writing them. This verse is a realisation of the past Meanwhile, Drake's verse ends with "But I can never right my wrongs unless I write em' down for real, PS". Although this verse is extremely similar, the grammatical differences make the messages very different. Kendrick’s verse is in past tense, whereas Drake’s verse is in present tense. Drake cannot right his wrongs, unless he write them down for real. Translation; Drake will never be considered real unless he writes HIS OWN lyrics. | https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkKenny/s/4GnT9vgwCG https://youtu.be/AMSDYx1ldXk?si=TDL-uJXJRoW13gkm
| Young Jeezy ft. YG, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown | March 29th, 2013 | * R-R-R-R.I.P. to the V.I.P * Taking shots at Drake, referencing Drake’s first line in his song “I’m Ready For You” as well as the bottle fight in the VIP section at a nightclub. * And if you started from the bottom, gon’ and come out the closet, huh | Chris Brown and his guys got into a bottle throwing fight against Drake and OVO in the V.I.P. section of a nightclub. This song is the result of that

Drake responds to this on his song Draft Day.
| DJ Khaled - They Don't Love You No More | May 3rd, 2014 | Hold up, you ain't got love for me, my nigga? Ever meet another nigga like me, my nigga? Are you sure? 21 | Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta | March 24th, 2015 | * But a rapper with a ghostwriter, what the fuck happened! Oh nooo, I swore I wouldn‘t tell… But most of y’all share bars like you in the bottom bunk of a two man cell. | Kendrick calls out an unnamed rapper for having ghostwriters, four months before Meek Mill exposes one of Drake's ghostwriters.
| Meek Mill - Wanna Know | July 30th, 2015 | Meek’s long awaited response to Drake’s “Charged Up” and “Back to Back.” It contains Quentin Miller’s “Know Yourself” reference track, providing evidence Drake uses ghostwriters.
| M3G Dre Barrs - 10 Mans | March 28th, 2015 | This whole song is a diss towards Drake's fake tough guy act. "Cut from a real cloth nigga, we ain't the same". Unfortunately the lyrics aren't available online, and the song only exists on SoundCloud as far as I can tell. | Toronto rapper Dre Barrs does a remix of Drake's diss song "Energy" to diss him. He mentions his biker gang affiliations, seems as if Dre Barrs used to be associated with the Ruff Ryders biker gang before he almost killed | https://www.reddit.com/r/Torontology/s/xmdmM2SmmZ

Drake is just now tying Hov's record-setting albums streak at 14 No. 1s. The 21 Savage line is just a good flip but notable when you consider he and Drake's relationship now and how Jay helped 21 with his immigration issues

Vince Staples - Stuntman | June 16th, 2020 | I'm watchin' Queen Gambit, lookin' like an extra/ Different color chess pieces hangin' from my necklace/ Stones too heavy, give me red neck Texas/ I cover it with scarves in the closet like my exes/ Fiat 151, bitch, this ain't a Lexus/ Third gear got me drivin' like I got a death wish/ | Tyler tears Drake to pieces on here, Lil Wayne caught a shot too
| Pop Smoke, Pusha T- Paranoia (unreleased version) | July 20th, 2020 | You know reality bites, it's chess, not checkers / Those empty threats only sound good on your records / If the patois is not followed by a Blocka / It's like Marked for Death Screwface, without the choppa / Let 'em rush the stage when you made like Sinatra / Only to hide the blade flyin' back through LaGuardia / I might even buy a home out in Mississauga / On my walls, have scrawls of Tschabalala's / Many dolls, that are sprawled, they my ill Nanas / Make a call, she gon' crawl, bad gyal Patra / I'm involved and absolved, I am Godfather, hush | This is after Pusha and his crew were attacked onstage while he was performing in Toronto. Drake's fans/crew came out on the worst end of that physical exchange lol, and Pusha was temporarily banned in Canada. Light jab at Drake co-opting Patois and, once again, the fake tough talk.
