Purpose
2
The purpose of this tool is to plan out the social media strategy for a month. Don't feel the need to fill in all the rows. Many businesses and people use two or three platforms and post weekly. You will want to see the performance of the posts to see where you can pivot and make improvements so the dashboard will fill in as you enter metrics. All social media platforms have metrics on the apps, sometimes they are named slightly different things.

Instructions
6
1
Select which channels you use. When starting out, I recommend picking one to focus on while using those posts to build one or two others at the same time. Delete the ones you don't need in data validation, go to list.
7
2
Delete those sames ones by highlighting columns in the dashboard and right clicking to delete.
8
3
Fill in the social calendar with plans for the month to keep track and see from a high level what the plan is.
9
4
Update colors of the drop downs by selecting the cells and going to home then conditional formatting, manage rules. From here you can find the rule and choose the cells it's including to update and you can change the colors.
10
5
To update the images at the top if you decide to change which ones you use, go to insert picture from device and you can upload an image directly in cell.

6Engagement can be subjective. I prefer to total up the things I've found to be most relevant and yet practical to track and divide it by post count. The reason is this dashboard has to be practical and it should take into account how many posts you are making. Gaining 2 followers after 30 posts is much different than 20 followers from one. You may change that column formula to what makes sense. If you're new tracking followers or likes alone is good.

13
7
If you decide to not use some of the channels, you will need to move the charts on the dashboard and also remove data there and move the charts back in place.
14
8
The total followrs count is based on starting count when the dashboard starts. If you have a following, adjust that formula to start with your baseline.
