1	Information and Media Literacy Minor Requirements (7 Courses total)
2	2 Courses	2 Lower Division Core Courses Select from INF STD 10, INF STD 20 or INF STD 30
3	2 Courses	2 Upper Division Core Courses in INF STD/EDUC - INF STD 115 – Introduction to Information Literacy - INF STD M121/EDUC M121 – Introduction to Media Literacies
4	3 Courses	3 Additional Upper Division Courses in INF STD and/or EDUC from the approved list
5	Other Requirements	- All courses must be at least 4 units. - All courses must be taken for a letter grade. - Courses cannot be repeated for additional credit unless othewise stated. - All courses must be completed with an average GPA of 2.0 or higher to be awarded the Information and Media Literacy minor.
6	Important Notes	- Successful completion of the Information and Media Literacy minor will be noted on the transcript and diploma. - Graduate level courses may not be applied toward the minor requirements. Students may petition to request an exception to apply a graduate level course toward the minor but approval for these petitions are very rarely granted. These petitions must be submitted prior to starting the graduate level course. - A maximum of 8 graded units of contract courses (INF STD 195-199) may be applied to the Information and Media Literacy minor requirements. - The Information and Media Literacy minor is not open to students in the Education and Social Transformation major and the Education Studies minor.
