Low Profile Recording Computer and Related
6
HP Z2G9 Mini WorkstationHPCustom ConfigHPCustom Config$2,500.001$2,500.00Not needed in most situations where user will configure A/V components on their own computer. Put some thought however, into whether you want to record in 4k+ for future proofing (recommended). This will require more compute to keep up, especially at high frame rates (60hz), should you desire it.

Webcam and Lighting
10
Logitech BRIO Ultra HD Pro WebcamLogitech960-001105B&HLOBRIOWC90FP$199.991$199.99Webcams are ever evolving with new features and price points. I mainly use the webcam in combination with green screen, simply to have a talking head at a corner of the screen (with background removed through Chroma keying)...as such, the requirements here are pretty low and this could be overkill. That being said, this cam has been nearly glitch free and always reliable.
11
Elgato Key Light AirElgato10LAB9901B&HELKEYLTAIR $129.991$129.99Compact and easy vs. much more cumbersome (but admittedly more professional) diffuse lighting solutions.
12
Chromakey Virtual GreenScreen (more shippable but less conveinent than below)AimosenAmazonAMSLY-301$17.991$17.99This you can use this with clips in the background for something more mobile, but less conveinient. For a less shippable, but quite convenient solution in the office/lab, I much prefer the Elgato green screen below.

Shure SM7B Vocal MicrophoneShureSM7BB&HSHSM7B $399.001$399.00Spectacular microphone for recorded voice/close proximity/tutorial-style recordings.
17
MOTU M2 Desktop 2x2 USB Type-C Audio/MIDI InterfaceMOTU3120B&HMAM2 $199.951$199.95I like this better than other mic interfaces as it displays levels on a small LCD on the unit, making you aware of clipping (which can ruin your recording) without having another software window open. If you have a need for more mic inputs (for something like a podcast where you are interviewing/speaking with another person), you may want to take a look at the Motu M4.
18
Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-1 Mic ActivatorCloud MicrophonesCLCL1B&HCL-1$149.001$149.00TECHNICALLY not required, but the SM7B is a low output/signal mic, so you'll want this, and is probably the most popular configuration with the SM7B.
19
Mogami Gold Studio XLR Female to XLR Male Microphone Cable (6', Black)MogamiGOLDSTUDIO06B&HMOS6 $59.952$119.90Depending on where you get the mic, stand, etc... one XLR cable MAY come with it (check to be sure), but if you go with the recommended Cloudlifter, you'll need another. These Mogami cables are premium cables and I've suggested to have a matching pair (before and after Cloudlifter)...thus leaving you with the stock one that comes with the mic that'll be extra (unused).
20
Auray TT-6220 Telescoping Tabletop Microphone Stand (Black)Auray AudioTT-6220B&HAUTT6220B$12.951$12.95This is definitely the recommended stand for kits that you want to ship...and may be your preference for more permenant stations as well. Just a preference thing between a table top stand in front of your keyboard, or the boom arm below.
21
Rode PSA1+ Pro Studio Boom/ArmRodePSA-1+B&HROPSA1P $129.001$129.00Would not propose this for the kit but would if there is going to be a more permanent staff doing voiceover, etc...

B&HROWGIIK $415.001$415.00This is not required if you are going with the suggested Shure SM7B Mic for close proximity "sitting at desk" -style recordings. However, if you anticipate walking/moving during a part of your demo, this is a mobile solution.

Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Closed-Back Monitor Headphones (Black)Audio-TechnicaATH-M50XB&HAUATHM50XB$169.001$169.00A great pair of headphones, but such things are quite subject to personal preference.

Hosa Technology Stereo Mini Male to Stereo 1/4" Male Cable - 10'Hosa TechnologyCMS-110B&HHOSMMSPM10$9.151$9.15This may or may not be a style of cable you want, but please be advised that you will need an adapter (or cable like this) for your chosen headphones if they have the smaller plug, as the Motu mic interface has a larger (1/4") headphone jack!
