I'll be taking presentation (excluding graphics) and/or additional effort and/or
2
overall fun into account for my vote, but unlike DDREvolved/BEST-mix where there's
3
5 points alloted for presentation, I'll be incorporating everything listed above into
4
the Tilt criteria added to the overall score.
5
6
Unnecessary overcharting/doublestepping is deducted PER CHART and may not
7
reflect the remarks per score below in addition to the Tilt.

Chart Ratings:
10
ScoreRemarks
11
10The whole chart is memorable, fun, with a very noticable section somewhere that stands out. The rating given to files that truly WOW me.
12
9The movement is generally nice in the whole chart and is very fun too. This is the "fun chart" rating but not enough WOW mentioned above.
13
8Decent and clean chart, movement is really good.
14
7Some small semblance of good movement and may be slightly fun; feels better than average.
15
6Okay chart that may be too safe, average at best.
16
5Uncomfortable/redundant sections in a few places but still playable.
17
4Chart shows some potential but is still very uncomfortable to play.
18
3Chart may have its moments but is generally uncomfortable.
19
2Generally unplayable and unfun file.
20
1Joke file that doesn't deserve to have points.

Tilt Ratings:
23
ScoreRemarks
24
+1I give this to files that aren't exactly 10/10-worthy but somehow the execution still blew me away enough to want to play it again.
25
0Literally no other comment for the file itself.
If I have comments for your graphics just ASSUME the Tilt is 0 unless your file turned out to satisfy either of the +1 or -1 criteria.
26
-1May be one of the following that may blemish the usual StepMania experience (do note I normally have a bias towards DDR-style files but I'll judge ITG ones fairly as much as possible):
- Sample start is weird (if I knew you from before and notoriously do this I'll dock a point as early as Week 1 otherwise if it's your first time I won't dock)
- Song cut may not exactly fit in a rhythm game (the safest route is use rhythm game cuts as-is but this is the drawback for using those > 2:30 songs; you do you.)
- Audio quality is obviously bad
- Recycled an existing skeleton (unless warranted by the theme. Unfortunately I'll do this to all edits of songs already in DDR using the existing official file as a base since IMO this is the lazy way out and I frown upon this practice in contests)
- Sync is so off
- Blatantly obvious rushed file which I can easily tell from how the chart was constructed (those that only submitted just one difficulty may get this a lot depending on how your chart went)
- Gimmicks that are so bad it deters the whole gameplay experience. This is not limited to-- completely unreadable sections at a comfortable speed mod, unnecessary use of mines (I'm sorry "mines becoming steps" people)
- An obvious attempt to cheese the system; may go as low as -2.

FAQs:
29
Q: Why is your spreadsheet ESP->CSP->DSP shouldn't it be DSP->ESP->CSP?
30
A: Did it by likeliness of the difficulty being played.
31
32
Q: Why are some song names in yellow?
33
A: For authors to refer to help make their files better. "t7r's choice for rookie steppers" basically.
34
35
Q: Why are some song names in rose?
36
A: For authors to NOT refer to when making PAD files. "t7r's choice for disqualification" basically.
37
38
Q: I can't read this on mobile.
39
A: Please don't expect user-friendliness in the current layout for now. I'm under the assumption
40
that people reading this are likely to load their editors after reading the feedback and check
41
which measures people may have gone wrong so this is mainly a desktop thing.
42
Especially since no web-based .sm chart viewer is up yet.
43
44
Q: What is FREEZE POLICE APPROVAL?
45
A: Clean up your freeze arrows people. End on a 4th if no notes follow.
46
End on the last note if it is the last note.
Some weird freeze arrows musical reasons are forgiven.
47
48
Q: What is SONG CUT POLICE APPROVAL?
49
A: Make sure your song cuts don't make me excited to wait for the song cut to end; this is the
50
case for a lot of songs 2:20 or higher even with the 2:30 rule. Ideally make sure nothing is
51
very repetitive especially for the sake of meeting 2:30.
