Dr. Greenspon/ Desert Valley Pediatrics

Dr. Greenspon has been very helpful to understand my foster daughter’s conditions. She’ll call me with results immediately instead of waiting for another appointment. She’s great!

Good option for West side of Las Vegas. They provided recommendations to an optometrist and other doctors who accept Medicaid.

Been using PK for 6 years now (2 yrs foster/4 years post adoptions) for all 3 of my kids. They have Saturday appointments available once or twice a month. They have provided excellent care for my kids, especially with strep throat, flu, ear infections, upper respiratory infections and vaccinations. When referrals are needed, they assist quickly to get the necessary care whether it is due to illness, behavioral/mental health related, etc. Highly recommend.

I have taken my foster kids there for years and my adopted sons since They first came to me. They are patient with the boys, thorough in their assessment and diagnosis and conservative in prescribing medication They encourage home remedies first , eg cool must humidifier,l. They are very responsive when I call. They are thorough in providing information to me about the diagnosis and treatment regime in a way I can understand.

There was an issue with Medicaid because baby placed w/us was on it before being placed with us. The woman in billing dept was very helpful to make sure all was switched over to new #

Even with 2 kids, we are in and out in under 40 minutes from the time of check in. Staff is super friendly, puts kids nicknames in the chart, and even helps carry diaper bags/car seats if you’ve got your hands full. They will see you with only the Medicaid number and not just the actual card.

I am obsessed with this place and took every kid in my care there - boys still go post-adoption. They treat the kids like family and my children have all loved them. They get to know the children and what makes them excited. The speech therapist even bought a basketball hoop for her room because it helps Tyson stay focused. Highly recommend.

As a foster parent, caseworkers prefer you to use PK because they get the results instantly. It also helps you if you ever go to adoption because you are not waiting for medical records from some of the hospitals who take forever to fax them. I can easily get referrals anywhere I want to go and the office staff is super friendly. I still go there post-adoption because they are used to seeing kids who have been exposed and know what to look for in terms of delays etc.

He was both very kind (bedside manners) and very thorough with both of my boys - one with a chronic lung condition since birth. He visited them also when they were in patient for COVID at the hospital outside of his office. I like his assistant (maybe a nurse practitioner?) as well. They both are very knowledgeable, helpful, and caring of their patients. The office is super cool also!

Day Camp Childcare (summer and seasonal)

A couple of years ago the staff at the Centennial YMCA Campus underwent some intensive Trauma-informed training. They stuck by my kids through their wildest behaviors and really took the time to build relationships that have been so healing for them and my family.
