Benin2015AbomeyDistrictOnchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis-40%40%-On low coverage for ivermectin treatment: "Among the population that did not take ivermectin during the last treatment campaign, the primary reason was community distributors not going to their homes and village, particularly in the health district of Abomey (67.8%)." Cameroon2015-16NorthwestRegionOnchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis-88%88%-Results calculated using Figure 3 on pg 27. The results on pg 27 are reported as geographic coverage, but we believe this is a mistake and that these figures likely actually refer to therapeutic coverage, since the text ("Regarding the distribution of drugs, the results of Figure 3 show that overall, more than three- quarter of respondents (77.8%) reported having received bothdrugs namely Mectizan and Albendazole", pg 27) refers to the proportion of survey respondants that received drugs. Very high (~98-99%) therapeutic coverage rates are reported on page 37 -- we believe these figures may be reported swallowing ivermectin and/or albendazole given that they received it, but we are not confident in this interpretation.
