11/3/2014 15:35:57Around 9 or 10, Her longing for attention from her parents seems to be an idicator of her age. We don't think she is teenager due to the lack of love interest i the story. The stone with the hole in it, black cat, The use of the word "other" to describe the other parents, the door, the hallway, the mirror, the empty apartment. The walk down the dark hallway, throwing the cat at the other mother. As a child. She acts selfishly, demanding Coraline to stay.Magican, destroyer, creator. She created the whole other world, she also puts the souls inside the marbles, which could be connected with a magican, she trys to destroy Coraline, I think the whole monomyth. She has a call to adventure, she comes across supernatural forces and supernatural help when she meets the souls in the closet, she returns to her apartment which is the return. Crossing the threshold when she goes through the door, She gets sage advice and help from the cat.Coraline resist the intial temptation from the other mother (of homecooked meals, and constant attention), She has to outsmart the other mother by finding the souls in the marbles, she also uses the advice that the souls give her in the closet.Michael, Dwight, Tariq, Robin

Coraline is around between 10-12 years old because she is very curious and like to explore. She also likes to talk to objects and likes to be pester her parents to entertain them.
The buttons on the other mother's eyes symbolizes danger as compared to her real mother. The actions of the other mother also connotate danger.
We would characterize the other mother as a adult physically and a child at heart because she likes to play games and likes to get what she want or gets tantrums.
The other mother embodies a caregiver because she likes to take care of Coraline, which is the goal of a caregiver, and then she guilt trips Coraline to get her to stay, which is the shadow of a caregiver.
The door is the departure and call to action, initiation is when she confronts the other mother and goes through her series of challenges, and the return is when she returns to her house.
Coraline's tests were to play a game with the other mother to return home, and to find the other souls in the house. She passed them looking through the stone with the hole.
Explorer, Innocent, Warrior, Seeker. Her weakest scores are the caregiver and the lover.
Coraline invokes the warrior to beat the other mother.
It was real because she busted her knee in the other world and when she came into the real world her knee was still busted.
It was real because she busted her knee in the other world and when she came into the real world her knee was still busted.
They are the three different souls that got captured before. They were innocent and scared. Coraline liked one of the children immensely because Coraline can relate to her.

12, adventurous, dolls and is bored easily. Wants to break away from parents. Old enough to realize danger, but young enough to still take risks.
Key. The Door. Symbolizes crossing a threshold. Cat. Rats. Personification. Button Eyes. Cover up, is a mask to conceal to true intentions. Stone with a hole. Sees what isnt normally visible, source of comfort. Well. Hides evil.
Other Mother was similiar to a child. Selfish and would do anything to get what she wants, throws tantrums, breaks promises, cheats. Likes playing games, and manipulation.
Creator, Ruler. She controls everything and everyone in her world. She can make changes to the world. Controlling and manipulative. Feared loss of control.
Coraline seeks adventure. The Door is the supernatural aid into crossing a threshold. Staying with the other mother and wanting to escape her. Helper is the cat. Finds a way to escape the other mother and her world and returns to her original home.
Being told she was in terrible danger and going anyway. The game to find all the children's souls. Getting rid of the other mothers hand. Finding her parents and bringing them back with her.
Orphan, Warrior, Caregiver, Seeker, Sage are the highest. Magician, Ruler, Creator Innocent are the lowest.
Seeker, Caregiver.
Yes it was real. The hand follows her through the door and hurts her neighbors dog. The rats of the neighbor are spooked.
A girl is a fairy, a feminine boy and another girl that are from an older time. She liked the boy the most.

12, she was bored with her toys
The key , The connotation of this symbol was to open another world with better environment than at her real world she had
She was more funny for Coraline than her real mother.
The Archetype for the other Coraline's Mother is "The Ruler". Becouse she want to control everything around her.
The stone and the door.
The tests for Coraline was to rescue her parents and it was not that challenging because she knew how to explore places.
The seeker', 'the warrior' , 'the caregiver'
It was a dream, her mother waked up her
