Subs are sent to the library if or when they are not being used in a classroom. But it is never consistent and purely dependent upon the ever changing daily sub schedule that can change at a moments notice.
Yes, there is a teacher on campus with a library credential who comes in at lunch to have it open. She does not take a lunch, and is paid $25. It is closed when she is absent or unavailable - occasionally, I will fill in for her. Also, she will not be returning next year as she has found a librarian position elsewhere in CA and will be leaving the district. So, next year the library will not be open unless I choose to give up my lunch or another person chooses to give up their lunch to do so..

In the morning ASSETS is open from 7:15 to 9:15 and in the afternoon from 2:45 to 4:30. Library services are available from 8:30 to 2:30 during the librarian's regularly scheduled hours.

It's a bit of a hodge podge here. Mainly, the teachers handle their own textbooks. There once was a person who was given 2 hours a week for textbook clerk responsibilities, but that is no longer the case.
Yes we close for testing. It is supervised or proctored by whoever the school/district hires to run the test. I provide basic support during the test but am primarily left to work on my own.

We have a dedicated Duplicating Clerk.

The library is technically closed, but I advise student clubs 4 out of 5 days a week that meet in the library and so the door is unlocked and other students who need to print or get front desk help will quietly come in during that time, as well.
