NOTES FOR THE READER:

20151217: This list contains declarations etc. in the field of research, scholarly communication, data and publishing. It was initially compiled by Bianca Kramer and Jeroen Bosman (see JoBI link below). In the context of FORCE11 activities the list can be used as one of the inputs for the workshops on the Scholarly Commons (link below) in which visions of and principles for a more sustainable, efficient and open system of scholarly communication will be related to what's already available that fits into those visions. That might be certain tools, platforms and technology but also elements from the declarations below. You are welcome to add missing ones or add comments. The bold ones in the list are the primary ones (broad applicability, international, widely signed), but this distinction is tentative.

20171018: Moved the documents etc that are not really charters to a second tab. Also added a column allowing filtering on aspect. Columns H and I are still incomplete and column I probably also needs to be split (authors / signatories). Please help by adding names there. (JB)
