2/1/2021Luke TurekFake AdvertisementsBig Idea: Fake advertisements for real or fictional products. Radio/Spotify ads, TV/video streaming commercials, catchy jingles, you name it
The Audience: Whoever shares our general brand of humor
Some Deliverables: A small number of as many forms of advertisements as would be practical (banner ads, sound bites, short videos, etc.)

2/2/2021Sarah TurekManic AnimaticThe big idea: half-animate one of Brian David Gilbert's stunning rambles with elements of his speech appearing around him to illustrate how he speaks absurdity into existence. This can be just a short, often-quoted scene, no longer than 1-2 minutes.
The audience: young internet nerds - BDG has an established audience and proper SEO will get this in front of his fans.
Deliverables: 1. roadmap an internet artifact with all words, timestamps, and screenshots necessary. 2. A slew of sketches, potentially different artists focusing on BDG/background elements. 3. Additional sound effects/mixing to add atmosphere.
Adobe photoshop, after effects, & audition will be needed.

02/06/2021 17:04:172/6/2021Matthew BlissLuminyr ShortBig Idea: We draft an animated Luminyr short, a la Lucas the Spider or Simon's Cat. It doesn't have to be long, it just has to show animation chops.
Audience: We want to make something fun for kids, but show the adults in the room that we do good work.
Deliverables: A project scope document, brainstorm session record, sketch trove, storyboard, written script, animatic, and then the animation. Also included would be Luminyr sounds, Foleys, and perhaps a short musical backing track which mirrors the pace of the animation.

2/18/2021Luke TurekRecord Time (working title)Big Idea: We make a podcast where each episode we bring up a cool musical album that we already know or have recently discovered, discuss what we like about it and guess at the influences, and maybe try to identify similar artists/albums that listeners can check out if they like the primary subject matter. This definitely isn't a subtle scheme for Luke to find out how frickin' 80% of the group knew about Tally Hall/Miracle Musical and never once mentioned it to him until this group was formed. Definitely not that.
The Audience: Music nerds; people who like weird, artsy music; impressionable young children, I dunno
Some Deliverables: A pilot episode to figure out format and logistics, then maybe 6 episodes for a "first season?"

2/19/2021Sarah TurekDrawing Challenge VideoBig Idea: Screen record a drawing challenge for a short-medium length video. It could be like theodd1sout videos drawing Pokemon from memory, or guessing what clothes look like based on their ridiculous descriptions from online stores. This would be a low-stress way to introduce ourselves and our drawing styles to a YouTube audience. The Audience: YouTube, people casually interested in art. The Deliverables: Each participating person records their screen and audio as they try to complete 1-3 quick drawing prompts & then compare & react to the rest of the drawings. This would require one quick planning session, one recording session, and then an edited final video.
hello yes Luke likes this idea
Luke from 3/7 thinks we should do one of these where we illustrate Pokémon cards
