12 | GC* - For 2022 we have decided to allow riders who were penalised for the BIH / MNE border to stay within GC. This is NOT a precedent, it reflects a recognition that Lost Dot responded differently to the BIH / MNE border in 2022 to the previous response by Mike Hall (2016) and we recognise that some riders incorrectly made assumptions in 2022 based on the 2016 ruling. This is a unique response to a unique situation and should not be regarded as a precedent. Mike Hall is not here to defend or change his opinion or ruling on that border and so we ask that riders respect Mike's decision for the time and place. Anna Haslock's decision reflects the Race in 2022 and for the future. |
