Who can sponsor?

Only immediate families are able to sponsor or provide a financial undertaking. They include parental grandparents, parents, siblings, spouse, father in law, mother in law, maternal grandparents.

Clarification on further liquid fund for loan repayment - Immigration New Zealand (INZ) requires liquid funds of around 7/8 lakh held from the past 6 months for interest repayment. This is recommended but not compulsory. If the student's parents have reliable taxable income which can be verified, and reflected in bank statements, liquid funds are not required.
