I really appreciate how random mechanisms, such ass landmasses generation or discoveries, are made because they are not completely RNG but somehow they fit in almost perfectly. However because I'm really enojoying it, I dare to make some suggestions to your game (I hope they don't offend you): 1) Inputs in the late game (700+ days) tend to repeat, especially if you try to stick with a sort of "plan", and so the player will neglect always certain offers (for example, if I'm playling like as a socialist, I will never say yes to make fraud legal); so I'd implement a system which filter some inpunts based of your economy form or governament. 2) You put many biomes in the world and that's great, but after all there are not really relevant differences between civilizations started in different aereas: I think it's a pity because this decrease the sense of realism behind the game. Maybe it would be better to make specializations in certain activities based on the biomes (more farmers in the wetlands, more miners in the badlands...). 3) Education is an underconsidered parameter, because you can only increase it drastically trough building schools but once you achieve 10 it's not clear what is its purpose: will people tend to commit fewer crimes? or maybe it influence relations with other nations? or is it even something that could prevent economic crash or instigate successfull rebellions? I think that this could be a good parameter to revise. 4) The currency system is ok and it's easily understandable how it is influenced by construction and taxes; however, I played both as a Socialist and a Capitalist nation and I cannot tell the difference between the two since everything remained the same (same costructions, same laws, same government...). I think money should define better the shape of a nation. 5) Rebellions are GREAT and I think you justify them correctly with decreases in mood, labours, costructions and poor politic; also I love how some may end in reappacification and others with the foundation of a new nation. Regarding this last point I think that it might be good to use the reason of the rebellion to justify the new form of governament/economy (ex: rebellion due to economic crash in capitalism--> new socialist state). Another great addiction would be the "anarchy" form which would work similar to when the people lose faith in you: you won't respond to inputs but that also the anarchyst would bring anarchy to other nations (a sort of incentive for the player to keep the crime parameter low in order to prevent it). I know that I'm no one to tell you how to make your game but since I appreciate it so much and I'd like to see news about it I thought to write you this :) | Kind words / Stories |

Not the roles, but will read over all the other ideas | Accepted | I LOVE this little game, but I really think we should have “roles” from the beginning (for instance, if you choose a Deity or something like that, you can change biomes, add land, create countries, give them stuff, and fully customize the planet) but you could also be the standard role where it’s virtually no change in the gameplay like it is now, and after that, I honestly think there should be more biomes (such as a beach) and technology unlocks (nuclear war >:) ) and procedurally generated images of the animals and plants, and also more disasters and land features, such as mountain ranges, rifts, and more! Also, make it so you can have more than 10 Faith for a country, and then you could suggest the country to do more (such as telling my countries to give up the socialist system they adopted because I made the tax too high ONCE) and you wouldn’t have to be prompted. Lastly, I think we should be able to change planet size, and maybe we should be able to do this mid game when it gets stale but you don’t want to start a war, and finally, if citizens get unhappy but they still have faith, I think you should be able to suggest to them to found another country. But over all, I give this game a 7/10, here are the pros: fun game, long play time, new experience, cons: no way to prevent natural disasters; people get angry and loose faith over them, not very customizable (if you enter a wrong name for a town, poeple, etc. You can't change it till you get it again), hard to tell what's happening on the map, gets repetitive very fast, late in the game naming new towns is less frequent. Fixes (plus suggestions): add more planets, make citizens less angry when disasters happen, make it so as soon as a new town is founded it immediately asks for the name. 94 | 11/15/2025 19:14:17 | [Bulk] Thanks again, will have to read through all | Accepted | Hello guys, about GenTown- I was the one who sent that huge request list, and I have a few more: First: Seasons: Basically, the temperature changes and you know what, however, I think there should be some biomes that change when seasons come, but only in certain areas (for instance, a wetland close to the equator might turn into a standard forest during the summer, but a wetland further away will stay the same, or just specific weather quirks for each region). Next: Naming separate towns:The towns that make up one really big one that are seperate should have their own name (for instance, I have a town called Monetasso which is the biggest one so far (and the smartest) and they have the most territory but mainly the towns are spread out), so think states, where each state gets it’s own name but are still part of the US. Next: Trade Routes: On water or land, I think that there should be trade routes which are essentially efficient beelines that go around any obstacle and that’s how countries trade, and if, let’s say an earthquake permanently damaged (more on that) a region and destroyed the trade routes, those countries would have a harder time trading. Also, I think that trade over water via boats should be possible and you will also see those lines while viewing the trade routes, which are the most common routes boats take. I also think countries should put taxes on certain routes if they mainly comprise them, which can alter relations. Next: Disasters and changing terrain: I think there should be more disasters (but don’t make them frequent) such as Volcanic Eruptions, this usually happens around plate lines, and if a volcano is there it will erupt (make it so that volcanos have a small chance after each eruption to stay active or go extinct) , (don’t make this some doomsday scenario where every volcano erupts at once but rather if it is on the plate that is erupting) or sometimes new volcanoes will form but this should be rare, and countries should naturally avoid an active volcano, creep a little close to a dormant one, and colonize around an active one, and also add mudslides which occur at higher elevations and move down to lower ones, and also floods too! Finally: Population diffusion, where some areas should have more people if they are inviting and some areas will have less if they are harsh. Thanks guys, you are awesome! | Other feature |

I forgot to mention in my last two entries (the one with the 11/13/2025 17:38:36 time stamp and the one with the 11/15/2025 19:14:17 time stamp) some more reasonable features, so let’s get to it! First of all, we need Ports, which would create more trade routes and make the closer trade routes (if you add ‘em) go through them if they are heading in the same direction, and countries would tend to build ports on the coasts closest to their trade partners and they should increase Trade by a lot, decrease Mood a little, increase crime a medium amount, and also increase Birth (because immigrants) and this will make more travel occur. I’m pretty sure you thought about this before, but we will eventually need some sort of Energy resource which is also diffused through tiles for different things that need the energy, but this is when the game gets really big, so I’m not expecting this anytime soon, so it’s fine. Next: Types of country: aside from the generated names based on the (sometimes questionable) decisions you or an independent or reformed country made, I think countries should also have some sort of “version” based on the things they invest in (like if there is a seafaring country because they invested in boats, it should literally be called a seafaring country, especially if they trade a lot) and this feature is a little weird sounding, but I think the investing feature should become a thing, because countries can’t always produce what they want (and this would also cause countries to hesitate to fight, because if a mining country needed food from a farming country and the farming country needs the metals/rocks and if diplomacy has flown the coop, they should reconsider all out war) and they should specialize in what they can do best. Next: Animals and plants: (I found the secret water animal(s) :) ) anyway, Animals should be bred for certain things (such as a sheep-like thing being bred for wool and meat, while a cat knockoff will make people happy) so there will be some strategy to who breeds what and why, and with plants, it should be the same thing, and speaking of those country types earlier, I think plants and animals should have certain “types” too, such as plants that are good for medicine. I honestly think I yapped big time, but I think my ideas weren't that bad, right? Anyway, Great job on everything, I love Sandboxels, and finally figured out Infinite Chef, and as you can see I absolutely love GenTown, and you obviously have been keeping up the good work. At one point there will be like 2 wars, 1 disaster, 4 different countries and a whole ahh revolution. -Love how the game names its towns and countries - 10/10 would play again A little suggestion: - Perhaps more maps and planets to explore ? - More than yes/no questions and naming things - Maybe gamemodes ? | Other feature |
99 | 11/16/2025 8:48:27 | [Bulk] I'm collecting all these giant feedbacks so please be patient and thank you! | Accepted | Hi again, I was the one who gave the huge request lists, anyway this one is actually kinda hilarious, so I had one of my smaller but still successful countries, Zebuii, go through a wildfire around one of their territories and the unintelligent Zs made a small time 8 day revolution that somehow ended up in Zebuii seceding 80% of it’s territory, even though the military should have squashed the rebellion, and the new, unintelligent state of Jerks (La Oufo) was founded, and they called themselves autonomous, but since living conditions were bad, another revolt happened about 5 days later! “Citizens of Jerks are quickly losing faith in you…” What did I do? You guys are the ones who are self destructing! But speaking of that, I think countries should be able to absorb territory from unstable ones that are going through revolutions (as in the case of Zebuii, they could wait until Jerks self destructed like one of my other countries about 5 in game years ago, Figi, and take back their land, or they could assist the country in defending against the rebellion OR help the rebels if the countries have a bad relationship). 100 | 11/16/2025 9:29:09 | [Bulk] I'm collecting all these giant feedbacks so please be patient and thank you! | Accepted | So… I have this world, and I was already unhappy with how my countries were faring (Zebuii, one of my favorites, got obliterated by Jerks) and things were bleak enough when all of the sudden, NATURE FULL FORCE ATTACKED MONETASSO(my biggest and most successful country) and the Monis got mad at me for… existing as nature assaulted Monetasso, and they went through a revolt, which, thankfully was stopped without any reforms, but THEY LOST ALL FAITH IN ME! I did absolutely nothing, in fact, the Jerks country, I tried to ruin, and yet they still like me! HOW? And yet my beloved Monetasso hates me and is going to make bad decisions, and repeat the past. A while ago I had this country called Figi and they self destructed after revolts and nature assaults (and also not taking my advice), and I think Monetasso is going to legalize something that will only go downhill, just like Figi Make it so that nature doesn’t attack your most sucessful country full force, or even make it so that we can tone down or up disasters. (when you think about this, it isn’t direct action, not really at least) I love my countries, but I hate when this happens to them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jerks stared a war and Monetasso would be too busy legalizing arson and murder! to fight back. PLEASE FIX THIS!
