2 | Thank you for your interest in the PFAS Contamination Site Tracker, compiled by the PFAS Project Lab, part of the Social Science Environmental Health Research Institute (SSEHRI) at Northeastern University. The PFAS Contamination Site Tracker records qualitative and quantitative data from each known site of PFAS contamination, including timeline of discovery, sources, levels, health impacts, community response, and government response. The goal of this database is to compile information and support public understanding of the rapidly unfolding issue of PFAS contamination. All data presented in the chart were extracted from government websites, news articles, or publicly available documents, and are cited in the tracker. While we regularly update the Tracker and strive to include information that is as accurate as possible, please note that some sites may be missing and/or contain information that is incorrect or outdated. The PFAS Contamination Site Tracker is not intended to be used for legal purposes. | The excel spreadsheet containing all contamination sites is available for sharing. If you would like a copy of this spreadsheet, you must agree to the following conditions and email pfasproject@gmail.com to access the data: 1. The information in the spreadsheet represents a subset of all possible PFAS contamination sites. There may be other sites that we are aware of but have not yet added to the database. There are certainly sites for which testing data either does not exist or is not available. 2. The information in the spreadsheet is current and correct to the best of our knowledge, following the citations referenced. You acknowledge this and agree to report any inaccuracies or additional information to the PFAS Project Lab team (pfasproject@gmail.com). 3. You will not share the spreadsheet with others or make it available without our explicit consent. This includes sharing with other like-minded organizations or posting on internal or publicly available websites or projects. If you would like to share it with others within your organization, family, or other group, you must inform us of this and receive our express written permission ahead of time. 4. You will not use the spreadsheet in lawsuits or other legal proceedings. 5. Any projects or public usage of the PFAS Contamination Site Database data must credit the PFAS Project Lab, part of Northeastern University’s Social Science Environmental Health Research Institute, and be shared with the PFAS Project Lab team at least one week (7 days) before making that information more broadly available. | ||||
