SASA(South Asia Student Association)South Asian student Alliance(SASA) is an Organization that strives to break the barriers between different cultures with Asia. SASA was created to fulfill the following goals
Bring together the South Asian community.
Promote South Asian Culture
Create various fun, social, educational, cultural events and service aspects of our diverse community.
Preserve the rich cultural heritage of South Asia.
Some of our activities consists of learning cultural dances, watching bollywood movies, debates on South Asian politics and discrimination, eating authentic food, and doing henna and having game nights!
How this is Different from AAA is while the AAA is more focused on presentations and being Asian American this Club is mainly focused on embracing their south asian culture and enjoying fun things about the cultures present in it.This is more of having many activities outside the school time.
This idea struck to me when I found out that almost all the other BV schools also have an AAA, SASA, and a diversity club.

TailBlazers: Guide Dog AwarenessThis is a club to raise awareness for guide dogs (and other types of service dogs) in the community. We can have guest speakers come in to talk about service dogs, hold Q&As, and possibly do dog-related crafts like making toys for Southeastern Guide Dogs. I want to fundraise for Southeastern Guide Dogs because they don't get any government funding, and they train many kinds of service dogs. In meetings, we can plan fun ways to fundraise, make posters, and learn about managing events and money. I think this would be fun for lots of people because it appeals to many interests including animals, marketing and finances, and philanthropy.DISCONTINUED
