We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our manufacturing equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other facility components to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Assist in the installation, relocation, and calibration of new equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Perform general building maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry, as required.
Operate a company vehicle/truck as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance-related fields preferred.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with electrical systems, HVAC systems, pneumatic systems, and industrial machinery.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

The Assembly Technician is responsible for manual assembly of cooling systems. Essential Roles and Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance
a. Establishes, implements and maintains the SKC Quality Assurance Management System and ensures its continued, effective, implementation.

b. Intervenes where product quality is not up to quality standards. Holds incoming, in process, or finished goods for evaluation when an item is deemed unfit for intended use.

c. Ensures all SKC employees view quality as their first priority and that nonconforming products are appropriately identified, segregated and properly handled.

i. Certifies that all SKC employees that can affect quality are suitably qualified to their assigned tasks. Trains and develops staff in the areas of quality assurance and problem solving.

d. Develops and implements the quality assurance procedures which will allow for the execution of the SKC Quality Policy.

e. Maintains all National and Customer approvals required by SKC.

f. Tracks, analyzes, and investigates quality deficiencies and initiates necessary corrective and/or preventive measures needed to prevent the reoccurrence of any nonconformance relating SKC products, processed, or this Quality Assurance System.

g. Maintains a corrective/preventive action system. Draws attention of the President and functional heads evidence of quality failing, secure an adequate response ensuring that the nonconformance has been identified, analyzed and rectified through the implementation of appropriate corrective action and/or preventive action.

h. Implements an internal Quality System Audit and Review Program.

i. Coordinates with Production Engineer to define metrics and implementation of continuous Improvement Projects.

j. Utilizes Quality Assistant software to administer continuous Improvement Projects.

k. Ensures that a quality plan consisting of incoming, in-process and final inspection is performed for designated SKC products.

l. Confirms that the necessary procedures and controls for the evaluation and subsequent monitoring of all sub-contractors and suppliers are established and to perform any such assessments as required.

m. Reports performance of the quality system to senior management during a management review and to promote the continued improvements of the quality system.

n. Assists with determining process capability.

o. Conducts internal audits to assure the following of ISO standards.

p. Maintains the calibration laboratory’s compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.

q. The Management Representative is responsible for all aspects of the SKC Inc Quality System. The Management Representative will function as the Quality Assurance Manager.
