T33. Mobility Assessment (quantitative)
2
Purpose:
This quantitative research is designed to analyse the impact of the current scenario and compare it to the optimal one at a micro-scale, such as neighbourhoods, intersections or street segments.
Check the other tab for guidance on qualitative research.
3
Instructions:
1. Input Data:
Collect data for each indicator (e.g., travel time, queue length, mode share) using methods such as surveys, observations, and traffic analysis tools. Enter this data into the relevant fields in the spreadsheet.
2. Analyse Impacts: Review the results for each indicator to understand how they differ from an optimal scenario in terms of mobility efficiency, safety improvements, emissions reduction, and quality of life enhancements.
3. Make Decisions: Use the insights from the tool to prioritise strategies and initiatives that best achieve the project’s objectives, ensuring informed decision-making for sustainable urban mobility improvements.
