2 | Blockchain pulse is given by the creation of new blocks. While the time between blocks is expected to be a fixed amount of seconds, it may happen that the blockchain takes longer (or shorter) when adding new blocks. As the coinbase (new tokens distribution) is based on block timing, the charts in the other tabs are an approximate estimation of how many new tokens are generated per month or per day, but is just an estimate and will not match precisely the reality. Furthermore all the data are pushed to the maximum, meaning that some values may be lower of what appears: less new nodes may join (thus giving a large distribution to the active nodes), nodes may leave the registry (we have left the max amount and evaluated it as if all the nodes always behave well, and the registry is always full). So, we take no responsibility for the gap of consistency between this estimates and the actual evolution of the blockchain. | ||
