With the presence of Blue green algae (cyanobacteria) in the water, it may be inferred that the bloom started late last year and was taking up all the available oxgeyn reserves in the water, and when the summer periods significantly warmed up the water the algal bloom may have exponentially grown, due to extreme heat and a surplus of nutrient availabilty. this growth can now possibly account for extreme oxygen oversaturation in the pond. this can be seen with the major spike in oxygen levels in the monthy of january

pH of pond remains relatively neutral, until mid to late Jan, when the pH becomes more basic (alkaline) ranging between 8-9pH.
