I emphasized shape very well by focusing on a shape, enlarging it, and using depth of field to make it pop.Yes. I tried to choose things with lots of color. It helps to focus on the shape of the object and not anything around it. Yes. I think that my photos show how I tried to use shape through the colors, the use of depth of field, and the placementMariaSalernoSummer

Our cabin Up-North is my favorite vacation in Wisconsin to go to because we do so many things there that I enjoy.I think I partially got my point across because not everybody is going to see what has a meaning in some of these pictures but me.Yes. I did this in the picture of the balls of sand. The sand was moon sand. I used to play with it every single day when I was younger and now my niece and nephew play with it all the time. But, I needed to mold the balls into circles in order to get the gratitude effect of shapes.Yes. My photo's show that I emphasized and bolded the shapes and showed how gratitude can effect you.Madi HansenSummer

7/8/2013 19:41:12Gratitude - Shape3.43.43.3I lost the card game, having 3x less points than the leading player. That was fun. Probably not. I took photos of some things others could feel gratitude from, if they recognized them, such as the air conditioner and bed, but the others weren't always so clear. The shapes, however, were typically distinguishable. Yes, many of the materials were simple and didn't mess with the camera. Although, the colorful pieces were a bit transparent and reflective, which threw some things off, unfortunately. Yes. The colors were well defined, the shapes are noticeable, and they are of things I am grateful and thankful for. Who isn't thankful for air conditioning is the summer? TimothyFlorekSummer

10/4/2013 14:16:57Joy Close-Up event, artwork in event43.33.4It was really interesting to take close-up shots of reflective materials.Yes, I used reflections and editing to create kind of paradoxes which are very enjoyable to observe. Yes, I chose to use mostly reflective material to benefit my cause.Yes, the images all pop the way I wanted them too with the combination of mirroring and using certain angles.ZachManon7

Yes, because I purposely took dead frail grass, and turned it into something special, and something that people will appreciate.
Yes, taking so called "Worthless" things and putting value to them, while at the same time making you feel content and making you feel like you are there.MorganHowland6

10/21/2013 13:28:28Gratitude Shape444I remember when I was at home taking pictures and my dogs wanted to get into the pictures as well. I did get my point across because the pictures that I took, you can tell what the shape is. The way that I used certain lighting, you can tell what the shape is, but you can also tell what made up the shape.Yes, they did help because the materials that I used were my phone which takes good pictures, as well as my editing tools which help a lot with focusing on certain ideas.Yes, because I was trying to achieve in the audience seeing a shape out of what I took the picture of, and they did.JuliaRook6

10/21/2013 13:29:30Gratitude Shape Event43.44One positive and memorable moment was when we got to go around the school for a couple days in a row and take pictures oh shapes. It was fun because you can really use your imagination with shapes. Yes because I worked hard and did my best to show people what gratitude actually means. Yes they did because some of the things that I decided to take pictures of included multiple shapes within the picture. I was trying to achieve being original with my pictures. I think that I did that pretty good because I used my shadow in the football field to make a heart. LindseyKimpler6

10/21/2013 13:39:08Gratitude3.444I remember looking through my pictures and feeling that I accomplished what I set out to do. Which was to convey the meaning through my pictures. Yes because each picture captured the essence of its surrounding. Yes because I used each object as it laid. I didnt really move anything because I wanted to get a picture of it in its actual state. Yes because each picture was supposed to capture gratitude and I feel that each picture did that. BrooksGahart6
