7/15/2013 14:15:52PodellaPodella1I see a man's face and a rectangle made from his hands. The rectangle made with his hands appears in front his face. The focal point is the man's face. He uses his hands to form a frame around the face. There is blurred scenery behind the man.It adds depth to the face. The man is feeling proud of himself. The man is framing his face to focus the attention on it.Why does your hair have so much depth to it?It adds emphasis and context to my photo.

his hands are blurred out but the object (his face) is perfectly clear and close up.the focal point is the boys face. The artist blurred out the framing so that the facial features would stick out more.It gives the boys face more depth. The boy is happy. He also looks sort of focused on something. It evokes pride because he is making all of the attention on him because the frame is on the outside of his face.I would ask the photographer why he only framed his face (eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) instead of his whole head.He might answer it by saying that he wanted to just focus on weather the boy was smiling and how his facial expressions were, not on how the rest of his head looked.

7/23/2013 7:36:23MariaSalernoSummerI see hands, a rectangle, and a face. The hands and the rectangle are in front and a bit blurry, and the face is in back, but more in focus. The focal point is the face and he/she uses depth of field. It emphasizes the face and the focal point in the background. The boy is happy about something. He seems happy and confident. What inspired you to take this photograph? He or she might talk about a personal meaning or experience with this photo.

7/23/2013 9:12:29TimothyFlorekSummerI see a blurry background, a person's head, and this person's two hands. The hands are closer, but they are blurry. The head is in the middle, but it is in focus. The background is furthest away, behind all other objects, and appears the most blurry. The focal point is the person's face, not the head or hair or ear. The photographer uses framing to emphasize it, and that's through the use of the hands. It tilts the subject matter. Instead of a right-side up photograph, this one is rotated about 45 degrees. The hands were blurred after the photo was taken, judging from the strange outlines near the edges of the photo, and that the photo was taken during the daytime, because of the white corner in the background, which was probably a clear blue sky at the time. The person has a sort of smirk on his face, which makes him seem happy about something. The image is also in black and white, and the focus is on the face. A lot of people feel self-conscious about their bodies, and in this photo, the opposite seems to be occurring, which creates a sense of pride. What's in the background? Why is the person's hair in focus, even though it is outside of the frame. A forest. The hair is a part of the subject matter, even if it's not the focal point of the photo. The color and texture of the hair also creates much needed contrast with the rest of the image.

focal point is the boys face and the artist used blurred backgrounds and foregrounds to emphasize it.Compositional framing tells a story for this photographthe boy might want to be a movie director.the boy is confident with what he is looking at and is confident with what he is thinking by the look of his face.I would ask what the boy is thinkingThe photographer might say the boy is thinking of a new picture to take and how he going to take it.
